From Monday, I’m starting at @pirbrightinst.bsky.social as an Institute Fellow, where I will begin to build my own research group in Avian Genetics. I’ll be focusing on chicken genomics, using a combination of ancient and modern DNA to answer questions about viral resistance. 2/4
