The Sens fan timeline really is like looking at Hurricanes fandom c 2021, with their pulling charts that we (I) did to calm our (my) nerves and wounded pride.

enjoyed watching Logan through Jordan's response.
They're coping - logic isn't really relevant. :)
Rod still gets crap for saying "we didn't get swept".
One thing we have all learned these last 8 years is that in the post-season, there's only one stat that counts, and it's neither advanced nor fancy.
Was it that Staal was offside or maybe that Jankowski didn't hold the zone?
All set on this - #SoundtheSiren
They learned a lot from those Panthers series and have been saving it up for 10 months.
He even had the "piss off your opponent" skill working for him.
going into a meeting here - I'll check back around 345.
just the one. And yelling is great, though I fee like it works better from the lower bowl. :)
So, anyone free for the game tonight and who wouldn't object to sitting next to me in 222? Plans changed today for co-workers who thought they would join me.
Just send me a msg in the chat. :)
this is a really good answer. Loved that it came from a French Canadian media member who seems to have already picked up on what is special about this team and this hockey market.
Fun to watch young players flourish, just like watching Staal and Hall renewed with energy for their contributions to the team. Best RealityTV ensemble anywhere.
Tons of video scrums with the Rod and several players (20, 24, 11, 22) - Canadian media bringing (good) questions as they learn more about the Hurricanes. www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/65vjo...
here's the latest on the Sens D:
Zub? seems to be. Didn't skate. I need to check the Green comments though
From what I've seen on Sens twitter, their fans won't be thrilled with this line-up (they don't think much of 3rd line Cousins or 7th D Matinpalo, and worry about the inexperience of Gilbert and Thomson).
that would be a helluva handshake line from a Carolina fan perspective (no matter who wins)
The creativity and skill of that move was remarkable. Tough he contributed to both goals, didn't get a point. His time will come - especially seeing the progress from a year ago.
Mike&Tripp or Bucci&AJ? (I haven't seen either)

very cool story and insight to how Tulsky does his job a little* differently than the old school hockey men.
*understatement
From Dom L at the Athletic and his Cup Odds projections, I believe this is the first time the Lightning have been below 30% and the Hurricanes above 10% all season. He's been all Bolts, all the time since October.
Last year, I chatted with Jake Sanderson about his development and he told me he wanted to βdefend like a Jaccob Slavin.β
And now he plays against him in the playoffs. My article on the Slavin/Sanderson clash. ππ @theathletic.com

Been there, done that.
(was it 3 straight games in December?)
Well then.
That was ugly from Swayman. Lifting the pad as if he was trying to let the puck in vs a little kid.
So only one goalie with a shutout through the first 7 games.
You'll NEVER guess which one.
These slo-mo shots of sad Sabres fans as the cut to commercial. Like, what? Did everyone think because they barely finished first in their division almost entirely on vibes that we were gonna waltz thru the post-season?
π― - they love their lazy narratives.
