I’m so sorry, I only do this in Arizona though. Everything is just always melted and I’m impatient

Finally finishing up a project I started a couple months ago!

But for now maybe it’s time to stop trying to get things done and just relax with a book for the day.

I feel so restless today I can’t sit down and get anything done. Yesterday’s hope and disappointment has left me so listless. I think I just got a taste for hope again and then lost it so quickly I don’t really know how to recover.
I’m dramatic and there will be a perfect house that finds us.

Finding some little joys. Today’s been a rollercoaster of emotions. We put in an offer on a house, kind of out of nowhere, and got our hopes up and someone swooped in and offered $80,000 over asking in the first hour of accepting bids. So now I’m sad. But I am collecting orange blossoms to dry

I pull out all my favorite reference books and spend time just packing the presentation and my brain with all the knowledge I can share for the day!

I love my presentation creating days. I treat myself to a coffee from my local coffee shop. I come home and let my husband and puppy know I am going into the office and closing the door and that they need to come say hi once an hour! I turn on my oil lamp and incense and get to work!

I tried to grow nettles for this and sadly the desert climate wasn’t having it. Please share results when you do! I host a whole podcast on the topic of the cross section of fiber arts and Witchery!

I sent out two letters today, one to some friends who lost their mother and another to a neighbor who I get a new meditation altar table from out of their free pile! Though we will only be in Phoenix another year I am going to build friendships in my neighborhood because community it’s key right now

Direction creating a cross hatch. Then I go back and go over the first area I stitch again. It’s super simple but can save your jeans, or honestly any shredding fabric on clothing.

Yes! This is done on my 1940s white sewing machine that only does a straight stitch. All I do is back the fabric with iron on facing that matches the color enough (sometimes, I didn’t back it on these jeans) and then straight stitch back and forth in one direction, then I do the same in the opposite

Before and after! Make Do and Mend! We all need to be buying less and repairing more! I’ve repaired these jeans once before and that repair is still going strong, today it needed some more fixing and now they are ready to be worn again!

Yes! Mutual aid can be magical as well! When you maybe don’t have funds to donate but you have time, do some magic for the person asking for help!

Sometimes I will mix eras! I’m not always a purist when it comes to vintage fashion!

I have been trying to here in Arizona! One of the most abundant in my yard ended up being in Horne’s The Charmer’s Root which was exciting since it didn’t show up anywhere else
