Waterloo Bridge obscured by fog, while a peach-colored circle of sun above reflects onto some ripples of water.
One of my favorites from the Monet and Venice exhibit currently at the de Young is actually a scene in London.
Richard Conte wearing a suit and tie, posing in a black and white publicity photo for Hollywood Story (1951).
Richard Conte as Don Barzini holding a cigarette, in a still shot from The Godfather (1972).
Richard Conte, star of American films noir and my #1 vintage crush, was born on this day in 1910 as "Nicholas Peter Conte." His career peaked during the 1950s, and today people may know him best as Barzini in The Godfather (1972). Happy Birthday, "Nicky."🎈
Sometimes you end up typing gail.com (typo) instead of gmail.com and you get this nice little website. Hah!

No, I cannot hack into someone's phone, e-mail or social media accounts. It's not legal and I don't even know how. But if you have an open court case, you can subpoena for info from the service provider(s) about someone relevant to that case.

Why mention one reason to switch to Linux, when you can list many? 🫣

I can relate to this. I also love long books, and older books. And I'm finding it harder to focus on them these days with all of the digital distractions around.
[PI Life] If you’re curious, ethical PI’s who are members of associations get emails warning other agencies about possible clients.
Usually it’s ones who are lying/misrepresenting and intend to be violent.
This morning I got one about a woman who fled her husband from another state.
We look out.

It's okay with me.
Kubuntu on desktop. Mint on laptop.
If Joan is in it, I'm watching it.

My favorite B (for bad!) movie. I love Beverly as the petulant, conniving drifter.
The entire learning curve: creating a bootable USB, partitioning for dual-boot (I still need Windows for ONE app), going in BIOS, etc. Not exactly what one does every day. Needless to say, I have no interest in distro hopping! Mint on laptop and Kubuntu on desktop for 2 years, no issues. 🤞
I just read it. What an interesting find!
The #WayBackMachine is a great investigation tool.
New book by vegan activist Gail A. Eisnitz, a memoir about her undercover investigations into the meat industry.
Haha! One of my favorites in the bad blonde genre.
Video camera.
It's not just for cheating spouses! 💔
Other reasons for a surveillance investigation include
* seeing if a claimant is really as injured as they say,
* discovering where a judgment debtor goes to work,
* and staking out a defendant for process service.
Love her outfit and handbag. Could work today.
I dunno, for me installing Mint (or any Linux distro) for the first time felt like that second image. 😳
