I'm not sure what answer you're looking for here. Aren't we all doing agitprop on here almost every day? Don't we all show up for our communities when we can? Work with whatever orgs exist around us (if any)? And yet we still have to wait for things out of our control to change to do anything else.

I agree the outcomes would be terrible, but I'm also looking at the material conditions we live in and I'm seeing very little opportunity to do much else anytime in the near future within the context of the American empire. Every organization is compromised. Every action is policed, even thoughts.
Sometimes a building becomes so degraded, the foundation so compromised, that it can no longer be safely occupied. The only choices then are to ignore it until it collapses on its own or to demolish it intentionally and safely. Since we're barred from the latter we can only do the former for now.
