FYI no Steph and Draymond at today's exit interviews, of course, and no Dunleavy and/or Kerr until the Kerr situation is resolved. which isn't imminent.
Also not on the preliminary schedule today (no surprises): Jimmy Butler, Kristaps Porzingis, Moses Moody, Gary Payton II, Seth Curry.
$37M in new guaranteed money in this new deal, Trent Williams' agency announced today. Hmm, wonder who could've guessed something similar from back in late-February?
The Warriors signed general manager Mike Dunleavy to an extension months ago, per sources. They remain committed to him as the top voice in the front office.
More on GSW’s future here.
If the 49ers were always going to do this (which we all knew they pretty much had to), I don't understand all the bluster back in March about trading him.
But that's the 49ers' usual March Thing. Never bothered Trent W or changed this negotiation one iota.
There wasn't much doubt that the 49ers had to do another deal with Trent Williams. The big surprise is that it happened now and not deep into training camp.
Were they thinking of taking a LT in the draft and finally just decided ... well, nope?
New "Warriors Plus-Minus" episode with @thompsonscribe.bsky.social + Nick Friedell -- this felt like the end mostly because Steve Kerr sounds more than ready for it.

In the moment, it seemed like Kerr's jubilation after Wednesday's victory in LA was proof that he'd never want to let this go.
Listening to him Friday, it sounded like that celebration might've been his goodbye to the best of how this all felt.
If last night was it, Draymond Green said it best:
“It’s been a hell of a run.”
Warriors’ season, and possibly more, ends in Phoenix.

Steve Kerr started his goodbyes to Steph Curry, Draymond Green and everybody on Friday night.
It wasn't the official end, and he said he could return, but the heaviest emotions were all pointed the other way.

Curry: "He said, 'I don’t know what’s going to happen, but if it is the last time, I just want to share this moment. '
"After laying it all out on the line for as long as you did during this game, that was kind of a jolt of a message.
"But he left the door open."
Asked Kerr if he could possibly walk away from Curry. He said no, but pointed out even if he leaves the Warriors he won't be coaching anywhere else. There's wiggle room.
Kerr said he'll take a week or so then talk it through with Lacob and Dunleavy.
Well THAT was a set of remarkable Warriors postgame podium sessions.
Steve Kerr made it clear his future is far from decided.
Draymond and Steph definitely understood that this could be the end of the Kerr tenure -- because Kerr told them on the sideline in the final minute.
Warriors' season is done. On to a VERY interesting offseason.
Come on Scott
Long Curry and Draymond talk and embrace
Kerr called for that foul to get Curry and Draymond out
Kerr timeout for a challenge, not for a white-flag substitution.
That'll be just about it. Didn't have the legs for this after Wednesday night. Phoenix played a really nice defensive game on Curry.
Podziemski's played a helluva game. 20 and 10
Too much Phoenix shot-making, too much Warriors struggling to get open shots.
Curry is 4 for 13 (3 for 7 from 3-point).
I still don't know what Brook Lopez was doing in the game in Wednesday's fourth quarter.
* 36 points
33 points from Jalen Green on 14 of 20 shooting ... that is very hard for the Warriors to counter
Curry starts the fourth
Porzingis -22 through three quarters. (Similar to Horford going into the fourth quarter on Wednesday. And then ...)
28-24 Suns' third quarter
Curry's at 25 minutes. Probably wil get a quick rest here and play the final 9:30 or so.
