Waking up to discover that evidence has been released proving something we all knew. The Supreme Court's efforts to stop the Obama clean power plant rules were rooted in explicit, corrupt efforts to protect the fossil fuel industry.
Researchers found that the system is on course to slow by more than 50% by the end of the century and could pass a significant tipping point by mid-century, at which point its decline would become irreversible.

A $1,000 electric bill is totally unacceptable!
The NC Utility Commission must REJECT Duke Energy's latest huge rate hike increase!
Many Duke customers on limited or fixed incomes said a rate hike would hurt them -- grad students, young workers not long out of school, a farmer, caregivers, numerous retirees, and a grandparent on disability trying to support a family in a doublewide trailer where the electric bill has hit $1,000.
Duke Energy Progress rate hike hearings began tonight in Raleigh in packed room before all 5 NC utilities commissioners. Only three of 26 speakers spoke in favor of Duke, representing the Morrisville, Wake, & Zebulon Chambers; DEP is a member of all three groups, but none of them disclosed that.
The climate justice group NC Warn is soliciting the public’s help in pressing Gov. Josh Stein to take the lead against Duke Energy.
According to the new data, one-third of all U.S. households struggle with energy affordability and access, a sharp increase from previous survey years. Every region in the country saw an increase in energy insecurity between 2020 and 2024, with the highest rates found in the South.
