I swear that her hand being backwards is NOT a feature of hers, it's a mistake on my end because of some kind of confusing left and right. Flipping the canvas does not help either, lol

The green lineart is variations on my stretchy scientist character. She was an exploration for Sammy's condition, but I wanted to make her a character for a while now. Not 100% sure how yet though. The purple colored in one is a color base and from mid 2023.

My brain broke too. I was an english class person. :S

I had the fortune/misfortune of only doing the pretty part of 3D for a long time. When I went the other end, well, I made poorly made doughnuts look pretty. And then I went back to hand drawing.

As a depressed younger artist, my storytelling sometimes suffered. I just couldn't conjure up feelings & images the story needed. Over time I found some strategies for staying professional even when I wasn't feeling it. Thread:
