It's already good Rodney news -- he's a good cat!

Oh, I DO like any news, photos, or anything about the Viking Landers. Those probes are my favourites! They gave the daily weather report on Mars for AGES past their planned operation.
Your degree teaches you only some of what you need to know. It DOES teach you how to learn what you need to know.
I'm grateful that so many people go to libraries and request books! It is a thrill to know my books are in libraries.

TITLE: Anatomy of Monsters: Anatomy of a Kraken DESCRIPTION: a large humanoid-creature with tentacles at the mouth, a lobster claws for one hand and a clawed-hand for the other, a squid-like head shape with large white eyes emerges from water, splashing water up, tossing a fishing boat. He is red speckled with a lighter belly. JOKES: - Voted “Most Likely to disrupt global shipping” three years running. - Ironically: Allergic to shellfish - He’s a sucker for drama. (And has suckers for drama!) - His bladder is the reason it’s a saltwater ocean. - Tries to time the chorus of “Mrs. Sandman, Bring me a dream” to navy sonar pings. - Has the ultimate dad joke: “It looks ABYSMAL outside” - Tried exfoliating with coral… his butt is still covered in barnacles. - The type who SAYS he’s “five minutes away” when he hasn’t even left the Mariana Trench. —— Want 5,000 more comics like this? i know, right?
During his first term, I heard from a credible source that the Joint Chiefs of staff had quietly agreed to steer him away from the nukes and keep the codes out of his hands.
It's International Dark Sky Week, a global celebration of the night. Please reduce your use of light for the sake of animals and astronomy. It can be as simple as closing your blinds. To learn more, check out this #kidlit book on why it's so important. #lightpollution

Small Rain And Other Nightmares by Paula Johanson books2read.com/b/smallrain "I don't like it. Six needs something today." "Are you sure, boss? Maybe she's just re-reading Tolkien, or quilting another blanket. It's winter, it's cold and she doesn't have any contract to finish. It doesn't mean she's, uh, blocked." "Six needs something. No long walks, no meetings ... She's not blocked. Not six. She's out shovelling her driveway clear." "At minus 25?" "After being snowed in for three days? You bet your ass."
In honour of the snow that fell yesterday and the day before in Edmonton, and melted today, here's a pivotal moment from a story in my collection Small Rain.

This a very dishonourable thing to do. Eby and his government failed so broadly to make DRIPA real, to map out the institutional changes required, and to educate and enlist the public in the work, it almost looks like intentional sabotage. Shameful. www.ctvnews.ca/vancouver/ar...
To call this ableist bullshit would be to understate the insidiousness of this statement. People do not make the choice to be too unwell to work. Were I able to work, I would. Disability is not a fucking choice. And it can strike down the healthiest, strongest, and fittest among us with no notice.
Probably not as much as an fMRI that just happens to coincide with one of those quirky incidents...
nope
no, best to avoid any un-necessary interactions with that tech.
That's a GREAT benefit.
If you have person with disability status in Canada's province of British Columbia, you can get a recreational fresh-water fishing license for REAL cheap.
He had bad vertigo. Could swim for lap after lap, but walking more than a block = heart would race. Cardiologists found no reason. Finally, one suggested use a walker for stability, see if his brain & balance were overstimulating his heart. Worked!
So he got the spiffiest walker.
Yeah, one of my kids would eat that, the other would write about it.
Bet he's a great buddy! But wow, he needs to stick to using analogue keys, not fobs and keycards.
My brother became a beta tester for programs & games. He can find errors nobody else can!
But smoke detectors are tricky. Gotta have one, gotta know how & when to shut it off. It is a wise homeowner who knows when a smoke detector is malfunctioning and how to make it stop screeching.
Lest anyone think K.B. is just joshing, some electric gizmos do indeed quit misbehaving just because some fixers handle them.
