@jay.bsky.team Please consider removing (or hiding) the .bsky.social part of default usernames. It would make the platform look so much cleaner!

If Bluesky wants faster mass adoption, it should drop the weird name.bsky.social usernames.

I get what it's trying to do but it's weird and will hinder growth, and makes every post look more cluttered.

Keep domain names for people with custom domains, and use the short username for everyone else.
