Pics or didn't happen
I was thinking when I tweeted this that 95% of Kubernetes users have probably never seen a Kubernetes node.
Send me your nodes!
(To be clear this means post pictures of your Kubernetes nodes and tell me their names)
As much as I love Kubernetes, this weekend is technology free.
Have a good Memorial Day weekend! πΊπΈπ«‘
I do think some well intentioned Valkey users have spread some FUD here.
If you're selling software hosting Redis for others, you may have an impact. I'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice. This is just to clarify what a CNCF project is and isn't required to do.
6. Lots of Argo users deploy with Redis enterprise, that's their business and doesn't really have anything to do with the Argo project.
5. If you want swap Redis for something else in your install that's fine and if you'd like to contribute docs about that, that's cool too. It's OSS and it's up to you.
4. The CNCF license policy applies to components used in our OSS repos, because we don't have any Redis code, it doesn't impact our license.
2. The Redis license change in v7.4 to RSALv2 / SSPLv1 doesn't have any impact on Argo.
3. The Redis license change in v8 to add AGPLv3 doesn't have any impact on Argo.
Redis licensing has caused a lot of heartache so let give a clear update from what we're thinking with the

1. Argo CD does not include any Redis code and deploying Argo CD doesn't require Redis.
Today is the last day for the Argomobile.
It's being repurposed for a new life and sadly the beautiful artwork will have to come off. π’π«‘
Here we see her in all her glory this past winter.
Right now to do it right, I feel like I'd need to just get a pcie to thunderbolt enclosure and then fill it up with all the peripherals.
Argo CD 3.0 is officially released! Go git it!
This release contains tons of performance, security, and usability improvements. It distills tons of best practices into new default behavior.
Don't forget to review the upgrade docs to make ready! @argoproj

Upgrading the home network to 10Gbe and it's amazing how difficult finding good hardware is.
10GBe adapter for Macbook? $200.
Good switch? How about $200 switches that break after 30 days?
"How dare you accuse me of engagement farming! Anyways, back to this tutorial on dipping grapes in mayonnaise."
More compression jokes are hard to fit without a better algorithm.
Am I the only one that didn't know there's a 7th season of alternate reality Silicon Valley happening on @Ubiquiti's Youtube page?
youtu.be/4occn0YY_58?...
They did it again yesterday. They have a whole alternate reality Silicon Valley TV show on Youtube www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fbot...
Help! Ubiquiti wants all my money and they won't stop coming out with networking gear until they get it! youtu.be/b50WhWXVkSs?...
Welp, someone showed up to prove your point. π
I agree completely, I thought my comment made it clear and it was just a meme.
But getting smackdown from the great Tom Hockin will have to go on the wall. Huge fan btw π
I actually think K8s handles secrets pretty well when you add in tools like external secrets, or vault operator but it's pretty important to understand how it all works!
Damn man, not even a like for a joke. Must be cold on Mastadon.
Like a tar pit?
I've finished all my work from Slack, now I can start looking at work in Jira.
