BURIAL ACT (the beer) is an exciting next step in our exploration and experimentation with New England brewing. Experimenting with dry hopping processes has *ahem* unearthed a whole spectrum of flavour from the mosaic, strata & idaho 7 combo, giving us our favourite iteration of the style yet

At the height of it’s deprivation, the people of Angel Meadow took to digging up the cemetery earth, selling it on to farmers for compost. The practice lead to the remains of Angel Meadows deceased slowly becoming exposed through the dug up earth, leading to the passing of the Burial Act of 1855

St Michael’s Flags and Angel Meadow is our home, I’m sure you’ve heard us going on about it. A historic slum, the park right outside the front door of our brewery began life as a mass grave for the impoverished and destitute population of the area, backing the now demolished St Michael’s church.

A base of the heritage British malt variety Chevalier, this unique and distinctive malt has a robust and hearty biscuit and cereal note. The dry hop uses 3 modern British hops; shake off those prejudices of the hedgerow, herbal British hop character and think ripe stone fruits & fresh citrus zest

The Electric Circus is a part of Manchester that has transcended into folklore - an iconic heavy metal and punk venue just north of the city centre which, through several iterations, saw every punk and new wave band imaginable pass through it’s doors
