All the same, I am excited about the prospect of seeing him! He is the oldest of my 18 niblings, and the first person besides my family of origin that I ever loved.
I have worries. He has disabilities that make it hard to support himself. He is large and brown & I worry he'll have trouble crossing the border despite US citizenship. He plans to camp when he first gets here until he can afford rent. I worry about that, & that the altitude will be hard on him.
🧵 MtE (Munchkin the Elder, my nephew & my late kid's brother, long story) is planning to move here from Mexico in Oct. His dad passed in Mar. & was his sole source of support. James & I have been doing our best to help him out, short of letting him move in, which I don't feel able/willing to do.
