My fear too 😭

I’m in the camp that thinks Claire’s brother William might also be Jamie’s brother William. But then that means he died 😭. Unless Ellen and Brian ā€œfakedā€ his death so that he could be reunited with his parents, but can’t see them taking away everything a small boy knows, especially his siblings.

There’s still time! Not much! But some šŸ˜…

And then we would see the tour of fallen friends. Hoping it’s not about convincing him to go back as much as it’s about reaffirming that there’s something after death, but J&C still have life to live.

I think they’ll do both. If I were writing it, the audience thinking Jamie is dead needs to be real. So Claire clinging to him and losing her ever loving mind needs significant airtime. It would be after he’s saved that he’s telling her what happened when he was gone to avoid discounting that scene,

This must exist somewhere in the recesses of my mind because I did read Bees… and apparently promptly forgot šŸ˜†. Thanks for sharing!

Whereas they’ve invested 5 seasons in Jamie/John/William. I don’t need them to tie a bow on it, but leaving them so at odds wouldn’t be the move, either.

I do fear they want William to have a happily ever after/love match, and I don’t think that matters. He’s still searching for who he is in life.

I just don’t care about Amaranthus and I wish they hadn’t introduced the storyline at all. I read the books and I know what’s left up in the air…and on some level I feel for her… but mostly I’m just mad she’s taking up screen time for something that feels trivial in relation to the rest of the show.

I hope so! That scene they filmed might not be the last scene of the show, though. For their sake l, I want a happily-ever-after moment to black.

Beautiful image šŸ˜. Fanny being the first to find Faith would be so heartwarming. Thanks for sharing your thoughts throughout!

Me too. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s one of the endings they filmed… but it really really hope it’s not what they went with.

I hope they don’t. I think it’s more likely BoMB will come to Outlander. I just don’t trust them.

It’s a fair point… but there are things she can gain from it, too!

I wouldn’t hate it!

Threads is a real shit show šŸ˜…. Don’t go there.

My main complaint is I want more JC… but I always want that. Even when they are half the episode, I’m like ā€œI can’t believe they panned the camera away AT ALL!ā€ 🤣

Some epic performances and storylines this season. And some duds… par for the course.

And Jamie would be/is proud of him, too.

I don’t hate S8! They have made some Choices…. But I think the people who don’t enjoy it are just louder than those who do.

I’m so intrigued to see how they bring it all home, and also really, really scared they are going to hurt us a hell of a lot more šŸ˜….

10. Jamie & Claire (& Adso) will exist peacefully on the ridge, surrounded by their bees and loved ones, forever and ever Amen.

I just hope the Frasers get more than 5 minutes of peace in the end. An eternity to breathe… to just exist in the comfort of knowing their family is safe and loved.

I hope some of the theories are wrong šŸ˜…. Either way, there will be a lot to talk about!

No! Don’t be afraid. I’m too afraid for us both.

But exactly. The way this whole season (including the premiere) is going, I think he’s more invested in BoMB’s success than finishing Outlander right.

One more hope:

If they DO have a ā€œClaire going through the stonesā€ moment (or even if they don’t!)… I wouldn’t mind her and Jamie stopping to plant some Forget-Me-Nots at Craigh na Dun…

A way to promise her own return to Jamie.

ā€œI would do it all again, and more, to be with you.ā€

Last FEAR: They won’t kill off Jamie or Claire…not with DG writing a 10th book and her own ending to come.

But I could see them separating Jamie & Claire in order to find Faith, especially if it would reunite Fanny with her mother.

I just pray they don’t leave us unresolved in service of BoMB šŸ™.
