It was never about health.

There are already parts of the federal web presence that are disappearing. This trend seems likely to accelerate, there are people in the admin who have experience disappearing things from the web. If there's something you want to keep, you need to archive it yourself. aramzs.xyz/microblogs/i...
Donāt underestimate the impact youāre making when you choose to wear a mask.
Youāre protecting your health & the health of your community. Youāre helping ease the burden on our healthcare system.
Youāre standing in solidarity with disabled people & telling the government that no one is expendable
āDefendingā women while banning abortion, limiting recourse for pregnancy discrimination, engaging in a campaign to deport families, seeking to revoke birthright citizenship. Donāt be deputized to enact their cruelty.

iām sad to end the semester with my 7th grade animation students⦠so iāll have to console myself with leading an animation club next semester š hereās a little abstract gif i made a while ago- perhaps itās time to try another.
i have a dog with bad separation anxiety- and i would still not bring her to any space where pets are not welcome. folks with service-animals deserve safety and easy navigation.
Reposting this guide from twitter because I COOKED here. (and still refer to this at work even now!)
but what if we worked towards our career because it DOES sustain our soul so we can do what we love every day?
Egyptian Blue Bes ceramic Statue from the British museum shop, kind of looks like a tiny suspicious bear? He's adorable
A middle Egyptian turquoise hippo from the met. He looks despondent and adorable. He has line art of reeds painted on his back and face.
A ceramic baby rattle from the met shaped like a pig. However it doesn't look much like a pig, it's giving creature saying ooooooo. It's adorable.
Little red earthenware bowl from the met. It has two little humanoid feet on the bottom and looks like he's standing shyly. Adorable.
Every museum should have a Little Guys Tour, and at the end of the tour you can buy reproductions of all the little guys
yay! i grew up outside of philly! (in boston now)
hey not to be all corny but please understand and internalize that your creative work is vital and beautiful whether others see/hear it or not and that your creative expression enriches the world just by your having done it

as a teacher of animation students who are constantly making amazing gifs, it makes me super sad that bluesky doesnāt yet allow us to upload original gifs š
a tiny clay sculpture of a pair of soft pretzels in a plastic bag with a wawa logo, and brown wawa napkin. next to the pretzels is a red and white striped cup from ritaās water ice, with orange mango water ice and vanilla frozen custard inside. the base is painted dark green with neon patters that look like patterned upholstery from subway seats.
(and of course i had to make one too!) this is my tribute to snacks that i miss from the philly area.
a tiny clay sculpture of a stack of pancakes, salmon and a bowl of rice noodles, and a large rectangular casserole dish of macaroni and cheese. the pieces sit on a base colored to look like wood grain. two tiny silver utensils sit next to the pancakes.
a tiny clay sculpture of a stack of a rustic bread loaf with a sprig of rosemary, a wooden cutting board with whole and sliced tomatoes, and a bowl of tomato soup. the pieces sit on a bright red base to contrast with the white plates.
A tiny sculpture of a triple layer red velvet cake with white buttercream frosting and pastel buttercream roses on the top. One slice is removed from the whole cake so you can see the textures inside. It sits on a sky blue base.
a tiny clay sculpture of a plate of dumplings on a light blue plate, a bottle of soy sauce with a small dish of soy sauce beside it. there is a clear cup with light green liquid to left and the pieces sit on a base colored to look like wood grain. two tiny chopsticks balance on the plate next to a dumpling that is sliced in half.
my 6th graders just completed their tiny food sculptures made from polymer clay and found materials. the best part of this project is watching students reverse engineer how to achieve different shapes, colors, and textures. each student also writes a story to describe the significance of their food.
an in-process sketch of gummy bears sitting around a table on short stools, they are playing poker and large stacks of poker chips are on the table. above the game, a gummy bear version of vermeer's "girl with the pearl earring" is hung on the wall.
an in-process sketch of the exterior of a school building. gigantic goldfish crackers loom menacingly outside.
an in-process sketch of a library interior with a bay window. flowers are pouring out of every crevice and seem to pile up in front of the viewer.
an in-process sketch of a school hallway that has been filled with sea creatures and tentacles that appear from the edges of the paper.
i remember thinking perspective drawing was both illuminating and tedious as a student... as a teacher, i'm trying to mix it up. my high school drawing students are applying their study of perspective to choose a special view of our school, then add surreal elements to make it their own! #arted
