Popes, Presidents, and the Prince of Peace Why I’m Grateful Trump’s Having Beef with Pope Leo

I have been MIA for a few days, but it's because I've been writing. In particular, I've been working on my first blog post. #Apaulogetics is live.

This first post is about popes, presidents, and how MAGA Christianity actually helped me rediscover my own faith.

He’s lost his damn mind.

Also, if he thinks Iran will “never close the Strait again” he’s delusional.

He’s acting like the war is over because it’s back to status quo…ish.

Still haven’t solved uranium or missiles. All we’ve done is get the Strait re-opened.

I've said it before, but until men are as disgusted and pissed off about misogyny as women are, patriarchy will continue marching along, just like racism will continue shapeshifting so long as white people aren't offended. And men SHOULD be offended by misogyny because it demeans your ass, too!

Is it just me or is it just really disheartening how all of politics seems to have a sexual predator problem? Like, a serial sexual predator problem.

The allegations against Eric Swalwell should be thoroughly investigated, and if proven true, he should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

This isn't difficult.

One billion percent, yes!

That and men with agendas, not of love for fellow man and God, have realized they can use "religious liberty" as a shield to be abhorrent. Which is why I think we need to normalize calling out people like this as antithetical to the teachings of the faith they hide behind.

Rev. Al Sharpton founded the National Action Network in 1991. More than three decades later, the fight for dignity, opportunity, and justice has taken new forms, and the work is more important than ever.

Thank you, Reverend, for convening us and for hosting today’s fireside chat at #NANCONV2026.

I'm not trying to make MAGA Christians, who I pity, angry with this statement. But this entire episode is starting to explain to me why so many Americans were concerned about a rapist, felonious president for so long.

I have no interest in Evangelical cultists trying to dictate world policy.
