I don’t think it’s indifferent, we clearly are supposed to care about their cause. I agree that the focus is on other things, but that’s (unfortunately) realistic. You will probably not bring down the institutions, but that doesn’t mean the cause isn’t good and worthy. A movie can say many things

the movie is very much anti ICE and anti white supremacy. Just because revolutionaries take revolutionary actions to fund their movement and disrupt public faith in the government does not make the portrayal of the institution they are fighting good. There are things to critique, but thats not one.

He would be concerned but is well aware that he has done stuff like this when he was a kid. Panel 4 August decides to make sure that Gustopher is okay. August: You okay? Gustopher: Yeah, just waiting for my game to finish updating. Mewbert opens her eyes and notices that Nougat, the other cat, has seen that Gustopher is lying on the floor. Mewbert does not wish to relinquish this comfortable place to nap. Nougat wants a lap to nap on too. There will not be peace in this house tonight.

Polly: After Dad's funeral. Panel 2 Penelope holds her hands together and thinks back to the past. Penelope: You told me you felt different and wanted something to show that change. And I decided to do it too. Panel 3 Penelope lowers her head. The earrings that she and Polly have mean so much to her now. It was something she felt that she had done for her daughter but it has come to have so much meaning for herself as well. Penelope: I wanted you to know that you weren't alone. That I'll be there if you need me. Panel 4 Penelope puts her arm around Polly's shoulder and smiles at her. They have experienced a lot of difficulties but they've been through it together. I definitely see the flaws in s3, but Squid game has never been more then surface, even if its enjoyable. I understood it as: you will never really beat capitalism, if you “work” yourself to death the next generation might have it better, but the cycle continues

Squid Game 3 continues to be the most unsubtle text in the universe, but that doesn’t mean it is bad. It is in fact, quite good at pointing the gun back at it’s masters at Netflix and the world that enjoys it. Revolutionary change is hard, maybe impossible, but it is worthwhile to try

This generation was the first Pokemon generation in which I completed the dex, even though I played 7/9 generations! Might be because its the first time I actually had friends to trade with 😅
