Copyright. I have to check the same number of hymns for copyright each week whether there'll be 5 of us singing them or 300. It takes stupid amounts of time - a central list I could check on would save hours.

You'll melt first! But mine copes very well with being rolled up and stuffed in a rucksack.
Pockets are one of the best things about cassocks!

I visited someone recently, only to discover that we had worshipped at the same church, 300 miles away, for most of the 1980s. Had a lovely chat about the former vicar's dog.
This. Washing machine about 20 years old, drier about 23, each have had once service/ repair in that time and work perfectly.
As we approach 100k signatures, the anniversary of the SC ruling, and 12 months of our campaign, engagement has been hugely positive.
We’ve purposefully curated our feed to shed love and light on the trans+ community, while highlighting true causes of harm. Please keep sharing

I did wonder whether to tag you, but thought it might be unkind.
54 jars, of very assorted sizes, full of home-made marmalade (and one small half-full jar, which won't be around for long!) lined up on a counter-top
The annual marmalade tally photo. 54 full jars, of varying sizes, and one small half jar, if I've counted correctly. About 45lbs in total.
Have they no idea how seriously huge they are!
It was very impressive. I have a feeling I spotted something a bit dubious once, but can't remember for certain and if I did, it was definitely on the obscure side. (Something like an office hymn at the wrong time of day)
4 bedrooms feels optimistic when one of them leads off another, which is also the only access to the bathroom. Quite apart from any other .... questions.
Although very informative for its target audience, it's far less exciting than it sounds. Fairly standard guide to vestments for the less familar ordinand, though it does have photos of contemporaries from college.
Though to rival 2 Kings, Acts 12: 14-16 always makes me smile.
Distinctly niche! (Former Cranmer vestments rep here)
Two (consecutive) verses. End of Romans 8 'for I am persuaded...' Nothing can cut us off from God's love.
Donald Trump post threatening Iran, saying “a whole civilisation will die tonight.”
After Trump's latest shocking threats, Keir Starmer faces a choice.
Withdraw US access now to UK air bases, or risk letting British soil be used to commit war crimes.
A really easy way to do something good - small donations can make a real difference to someone.
I had made a candleshield from the empty case of an old sanctuary light, but was a bit alarmed when the wind forced the trapped flame down the side of the candle, right by my fingers. Not sure yet whether the plastic melted; I know there's a sooty trail down the side of the candle.
Oh dear. Sit there in your marmaladeless wrongness, my friend, and be wrong, while the rest of us enjoy our tangy breakfast treat. 🙂🍞🍊
I'm not sure I'd even noticed it until I was pulling the order of service together. But it's an amazing summary of hope.
This was where I almost lost it yesterday:
'... let the whole world feel and see
that things which were cast down are being raised up
and things which had grown old are being made new
and that all things are returning to perfection....'
You will, even if it's through gritted teeth. Sending empathy and virtual gin and/or chocolate.
It's quite something, isn't it. This was my first time as parish priest, which is another layer of meaning on top.
A clothes rail on which hang a newly ironed surplice, a freshly washed cassock-alb which has been ironed once but needs a second go, and the early makings of what will hopefully one day be a rose chasuble.
Triduum ironing in progress. Seasonal sewing has now missed two deadlines, but maybe I'll get it done before December.
Screenshot of this quiz result, suggesting as the result, 22 percent German, 76 percent autistic. Summed up as 'Autistic; not necessarily German about it'
I did it, because these sort of quizzes can be fun. Got an answer, but not convinced it's worth even the little these can sometimes be, because what I am mostly is the sort of person who hates multiple choices when no answers are quite right, but often two options are no more wrong than each other.
The image says, "PRISON SENTENCE FOR ISRAELIS, DEATH SENTENCE FOR PALESTINIANS." It also says, "Israel's death penalty bill is a reminder: this is illegal occupation, functioning as intended," with the OXFAM logo below.
Make some noise. Share this post. 🚨
The Israeli government has granted itself another means to dehumanise, suppress, and kill Palestinians. Israel is violating international law.
Thanks. Busy and hard work, but positive. Are you getting a break beyond a couple of Bank Holidays?
