The coping therapy group I'm in suggested journaling every day about things that give me anxiety. I can allow myself to ruminate, but only for twenty mins. I like this idea. I have a bunch of blank journals I've never used lying around that are perfect for this.

Played Borderlands 4 for 3 days straight and all I want to do is play more. Clocked in approx 28 hrs. Damn the work week. This is my hyperfixation right now and work is getting in the way. It's a pretty good game and highly addicting. I can't wait till the weekend rolls around again.
In my case, it's getting up before the...gators? I think gators are more nocturnal though. For someone who lives in Florida, I should probably know more about gators
One week until Borderlands 4 is playable. I'm hyped. I took the day off from work and me and @mauserfrau.bsky.social have plans to get up at the crack of dawn to play probably all day. I'm even pre-planning my meals and breaks. And, hey, day off work is always welcomed. Can hardly wait.

I finally feel up to going back to work on my extreme horror novel. I just need to script out some scenes, finish others, and I'll probably be pretty far into the narrative by then. I had a fair bit of it done. I'm just a really slow writer & get burned out easily.
The therapist I built good rapport with for almost two years is no longer taking clients through the platform I use. I dunno if she's switching platforms or just not doing telehealth anymore. I'm really upset over the change. It came very suddenly without warning. My other options don't seem as good

Going back to NY in July for a couple of days. It'll be like going from hotter to just plain hot. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll be a cooler week, but I doubt it. Mid-summer is brutal in downstate NY. Should be fun still. I plan to get to see some old friends and chill out.
Put in an order to Weee for some Asian foodstuffs & snacks and got two huge boxes delivered. I am rolling in honey butter chips, other non-US chip flavors like crayfish, tempura seaweed, Kewpie mayo, & matcha kitkats etc now. I also got some ube batter for pancakes which is one of my fav flavors.
I'm currently all up in Blue Lock hell. It's my new fandom obsession. Who knew I'd ever get addicted to a sports manga of all things. I mean, it's also pretty homoerotic, so there is that. Currently writing a Kaiser/Isagi serial killer AU fic called Secrets of Your Skin.

I wish I had more room in my apartment to buy physical books. I'm in a book club where I receive two physical books a month and even that's getting hard to accommodate with only one bookshelf. I've embraced my e-reader, but it's not my preferred way to read.
