I agree. I was referring to the general polls not just polling among Ds. The 2016 primary was influenced by these centrist. The thinking was only a centralist could win and beat Trump. I voted for Biden. His messaging was unfortunately insufficient considering the MAGA lie machinery. Yes inflation was coming down but costs were and still high. People voted by their wallets. They unfairly pinned this on Biden and by osmosis to Harris.

I like and voted for Harris. I liked her many proposals. Biden unjustifiably ended up being too much of an anchor. I do think if she had 100 more days she would have won. Her election sprint was too short to define herself fully.
