When Pope Leo XIV is talks about marriage, he’s talking about the sacrament of marriage within the Catholic Church. He’s not talking about civil marriage. That sacrament is made between a man and a woman for the purpose of procreation. It has nothing to do with how he feels about LGBTQ+ individuals.
