We've 'sort of' known about this but never tested how much of an impact it has. Orch found out that with his mouse vs. mine in Hunk, best case scenario he's losing 0.8 to me and worst case scenario he's losing 2.4 seconds, which is significant. Imagine a run as long as LAS 120?
Orch made a program through ChatGPT that measures how long your right click on your mouse is held down in milliseconds which, depending on your mouse, can vary. I've made a spreadsheet for people to add their results. Instructions on how to test are simple but read the disclaimer

I might be insufferably pensive recently but I have to say I'm sorry for not streaming. Streaming requires this sort of performative energy that I simply don't have atm cuz of life. Admittedly, I've been playing games myself on and off. I've needed them for my own sanity.
For the past 2 months, I don't think we've had a single week where at least one of us wasn't sick. I'm seeing so many people doing well and having so much fun on Twitch and the human side of me has felt so envious. I'm really sorry I haven't been able. Trust me. I miss everything
One thing about being a family man that I found out is that if I'm sick, I can't stream cuz I'm sick. If my daughter's sick, she needs me. If my son's sick, he needs me. If my partner is sick, I'm needed more to look after the kids. The likelihood of not streaming is quadrupled
