Watch the Minnesota Lynx. They were the last WNBA team to be reliant on one of the FDSN RSNs. They still have not announced broadcasting plans for 2026 (nor have the Indiana Fever, who the last two years were broadcast by Tegna). They may also be a pilot for whatever the T-Wolves do.

The number of potential rightsholders really varies in these markets. There are a few options for the Clippers in Los Angeles. There are way fewer for the Grizzlies in Memphis.
It's unclear really if any of these additional NBA teams want to go the Suns/Jazz/etc. route of starting from an OTA base instead of streaming with a small number of OTA games. Keep in mind that many of these deals, especially in re: streaming, will be one-year stopgaps per the NBA's mandate.
...as Scripps elected retrans consent for WPXE but said it was free to MVPDs as long as it was carrying Ion. The same thing applied in Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Tampa Bay, and Nashville — all cities where Scripps now has or will have hockey rights and where MVPDs have to pay now for it.
Some thoughts on the FDSN demise as it pertains to basketball...
Scripps Sports is not much of a contender, except in Detroit and Milwaukee. Scripps has said they must own a Big 4 affiliate to make a Spot independent work. Milwaukee has been earmarked for this technically for years...
Hockey, yes. Basketball, no (the new NBA rights deal gets rid of this).
Yeah. Messaged me and someone else I know on Discord without any regard for neither of us being interested. I'm particularly wary with the DX scene for some personal reasons.
hi, I don't know you @strawburri.bsky.social, @wynn.pink, but the account that followed you named Brian is a chaser and should be blocked. I blocked him on his main and he just created that one.
Did Poob decide to get into social media?
just gave birth to a new logo
If your profile description says "second Bluesky account, do not block this account", and I blocked your first account because quite frankly you're acting like a chaser, you have all the subtlety of a sledgehammer.
"Why do the Lady Vols have a negative number of players? How many do they have?"
"Minus. One."

Very few things in my life have made me viscerally, truly, angry at the world. What happened to Anthony Bourdain is one of them.
A picture of the man with an IV drip in the hospital room and the tweet text "Well, I Am In Tempe Medical Center ICU. This Morning As Was Going To The Arizona State LaCrosse Game. I Was Attacked By A Swarm Of Bees. I Have A Couple Of Hundred Stingers On My Arm And Legs. It Took 3 Nurses To Get Most Of Them Out."
The guy who was hospitalized tweeted about it.
They also postponed the game, the conference opener against Florida (not a typo). www.gainesville.com/story/sports...
Most of the bees were at the Polytechnic campus, a 23-mile drive from the Tempe campus, so a lot of the warnings were irrelevant.
I still have an archive of all the warnings I got. Bees at the West campus. Bees at Poly. Bees in the stairwell. Bees in the parking lot. There's a page about bees at ASU, for crying out loud. cfo.asu.edu/bee-sightings
Bee warnings in the spring used to be an ASU pastime. They used to send bee alerts out to everyone no matter what campus the bees were at.

Francisco Cervelli, a Venezuelan of Italian origin, probably didn't see an ITA-VEN semifinal in the WBC coming.
Is there a site that collects all of Pokopia's human records in one place? I'd like to read them and not just in scattershot tweets and skeets.
Kenny Albert is such a workaholic that the only winding down he thinks about is penalty time.
What type of antenna are you using? That may also play a role.
Also WGME is closer to you than the other two stations.
My other question would be what type of antenna you are using. In the direction of Portland, WMTW is a VHF signal and WCSH and WGME are on UHF.
Contour map of WLBZ, transmitter south of Bangor, Waterville and Augusta outside of the 43dBu contour
Contour map of WABI, transmitter southwest of Bangor, 43dBu contour includes Waterville and Augusta
WVII is similar to WLBZ (left), but WABI has a site that is just far better for reception in your direction. Your field strength would be better from WCSH.
Ah OK. Somehow I thought you were in Brunswick.
Since you're in between Portland and Bangor, I'll point out that WLBZ is a tougher catch than it should be. It's on RF channel 2 (low-VHF is tough to receive in digital) with an ERP of 3 kW. That'd actually qualify as a low-power TV station!
Have you contacted the engineering department at News Center Maine? Strange issue to have. Brunswick is about 37 miles (60 km) from the WCSH transmitter site so I presume that's the one in question.

I remember the NSider Forums. In 2003. And I was almost certainly the youngest poster on the NSider Forums in 2003.
