Museum photo of a two piece riding habit in dark brown wool. The skirt is full length, with gentle folds, and there is zero chance of it riding up while riding, such is its length and weight. The jacket is quite traditional looking. Tight waist, flared hem expanding out over the hips, with buttons down the centre, and a neat small collar. This is a nice one. The fabric looks heavy, but both jacket and skirt have an absolutely perfect cut. The curved line of the centre front of the jacket down through the hem is really pleasing to the eye.
