last week was my extremely close friend @miffix.bsky.social's birthday and I wanted to spoil her a bit this year. One of the things I did was this piece that I'm quite proud of.
Animals are references to members of our TTRPG group's sonas.

One of my friends and fav streamers is organizing a donothon because of some unexpected expenses. Yall should check her out, her streams are a great time.
Also check out the comic project I did with her if you haven't ^^
A street in an unknown city, at night time. A woman with wolflike features partially obscured by a loose hoodie walks down the street. The text boxes read: Sometimes I've been asked, if creatures that go bump in the night are real, how do you all stay secret? The truth is, maintaining secrecy around the supernatural is almost distressingly easy. There's a lot of people out there who don't actually want to see, for example, hunger incarnate walking the streets.
The wolflike woman is standing in a coffee shop. In this context it's possible to see she's quite tall, standing head and shoulders above the rest of the people in the shop. Others in the shop are mostly focused on their own lives, but one or two seem to take notice that something about her is a bit unusual as she pays for her coffee and leaves. The text boxes read: If they admitted to themselves that's what they're seeing, they'd have to figure out what to do about it. They have no idea what they'd do about it, so they tell themselves whatever they have to. They tell themselves they didn't see a tail, it was just a trick of the light or a movement of loose fabric. Maybe that person was wearing an unusual custom mask for public disease safety. Maybe that's just more tattoos.
The view cuts to a much shorter woman walking in a grocery store. Despite her overall more human appearance, a hint of wolf ears peeks out through the top of her hair. She's looking nervously behind her at other people at the far end of the aisle. The text boxes read: Sometimes, I've tried going out in human form. It's exhausting though. Imagine trying to hold in a sneeze with your whole body for hours at a time, and you can understand why I don't like doing it for that long. Also, if anything, it's worse. When they start processing your as a potentially Completely Normal Human, some things stand out more. Cut back to the tall wolf woman exiting the coffee shop, taking a sip of her drink. The text box reads: I still put something on though, like this hoodie, to give people's minds at least something to work with.
The text box reads "Otherwise, I get a whole different sort of attention, not "OH NO IT'S A WEREWOLF" more... Cut to a convention center, currently hosting a furry convention. The wolf woman, far more visible in more revealing clothing and without the loose jeans and hoodie covering up, is surrounded by some of the convention-goers. One is saying "Oh your fursuit is so realistic, WOW I've never seen something like this is it animatronic?" Another is saying "Mommy...sorry. Mommy? Sorry. I mean mommy? Sorry." The scene returns to the wolf woman walking down the street, alone with her cup of coffee. Someone in the distance has begun following her. The text box reads: I never get people demanding that I'm an unholy terror, though. They don't want to. Most people don't want to live in a world where supernatural horrors like me exist.
Greetings researchers and welcome to a tale of Site 7, the city it rests under, and why keeping the secret a secret isn't always all that hard.
A collab comic written by me and drawn by @noxkitsune.bsky.social! We're excited to finally share this with you all!

Another portrait for comm sample purposes. This one's for my close friend @vivybnuuy.bsky.social
Portrait of @violethightempo.bsky.social
I'm considering opening some comms, so I wanted to create some examples of the kinds of things I'd do. Good excuse to draw some of my friends :P
Fully agreed.
As a cis man, It took a *lot* of consuming feminist media before it clicked that the patriarchy is a net negative for me too.
Not that I wasn't on board with toppling it before that.
Portrait of a fenec fox anthro wizard with a strange glowing green eye, hair and jewelry.
Updated look of my ttrpg character Rhith for our game hosted by @trustmeiexist.bsky.social
XD he changed a lot through pledging himself to a dragon god, figured I'd update the look to match
@enragedhybrid.bsky.social 's TTRPG character Malkita.
They stream their campaign on Fridays at @miffix.bsky.social twitch channel.
I hope the work I've been doing to improve shows ^^
Been working on pushing my art further these past few weeks, using some courses. Here's a test I did today with my character Khalia.
I've been hard at work trying to improve my art these past couple weeks. Decided to test out some of the stuff I learned on @vivybnuuy.bsky.social
I want a video of you telling a male karen off, with your voice that would be *amazing*.
XD yep. I use C on the regular for work. It trips me up when I use normal languages and they actually do things for you.
Hey everyone, we have some big news to share!
I played the original starforce back in the day. Story was a little stupid, but it was a fun successor to the battle network series.
Painting of an Umbreon and Espeon from the pokemon franchise defending a wooded path
Still on my custom card sleeve kick. Been a while since I've drawn my fave pokemons.
A wolf anthro with purple hair and an exotic red outfit. Holding a flaming card in one hand and the rest of her hand of cards in the other.
Hey I'm still alive. Been working on some major art stuff, so I'm not doing too many pieces. Did this on the side to try some things.
I've been wanting to push my art forward again. This is for my friend @screamingdoggo.bsky.social possibly to be used as a custom MTG sleeve for her.
Yeah I think it's more the way it's being handled in the social spheres that is fad-like. The more useful aspects of the technology will settle into our daily life.
It's like how lasers were everywhere in media as a magic mcguffin for a while, but now are just a useful tool.
I'm not familiar with that one, but will look into it. I think integrating exercises to help understand these things young would be huge.
All that to say, I think there needs to be a massive cultural shift within the white communities to get to what I feel you're suggesting. Non-white-centric media would help with that, for sure.
Honestly, it's much more ingrained than that. When you grow up with the priveleges associated with it, you just accept them as normal? I've done my best for years to understand what people who aren't cis/het/white go through, and despite that, I can only kind of concieve of it intellectially?
XD you asked for it and we delivered.
Glad you enjoyed <3
Yeah that's not a complaint I hear about our leadership much. Though we indeed have our own set of problems.
Yeah here in canada our politics is like background noise at most usually and then our election stuff is like 1-2 months every four-five years. It's not constant like you guys.
Ringfit starts to call to you
Can someone go check if horses still exist?
I read this book last night. Excellent character design and cute story. I recommend it for a fun read ^^
Birthday pic for @miffix.bsky.social, of her and @enragedhybrid.bsky.social's DnD chars. Pretty proud of this one ^^
