Our cat Vex alerted to something under the stove a few days ago, and after our first mouse-ca-pades we decided to stop gaslighting the cat and just believe her.

But to this morning, the little dude was hiding in the stove. Still not caught but cat enrichment is taken care of for the next few days

alright it is finished. Not a bad draft

It really has been speaking to the idea that they "want to create something" but "put zero effort or thought into it".

They really just want that participation trophy and to then lie saying it's a medal of honor.

My wet origami paper idea continues to grow

Wet origami is really really soothing.

Not quite sure where I'm going with everything yet but I think that's ok

It took like 6 damn hours to brush this out. My wrists hurt so much. Long hair wigs are no joke.

Here's the gluing. Arda wigs had a tutorial on how to do the persephone wig so I was following that to the best of my ability. This also took like 6 hours spread out over many days.

First styling check, VERY CUTE

Overall, extremely good first crack. I couldn't find my wig cap that night so I just went with it. I need to go back and add an attachment inside so I can prop the hair up on top of everything, and hairspray things down more aggressively so the styling stays

Some other fun Hades things, I got to work on wigmaking for the first time. REALLY liked how it came out.

Y'all wigmakers are crazy btw.

I want to come back to it and fix it up some and have ideas on how to make it better!

Here's how we set up the kitchen. Absolutely tricked it out with flameless candles that turn off with a remote, some fairylights, the classic green disco ball with some party lights.

The idea! Very pretty, realized I wanted a gradient

Proof of concept, does this idea hold water and hang easily? Yes.

The first corner covered. Each leaf chain ended up being like 9 or 10 leaves, and each clump needed about 4 or 5 groups to feel full

So yea. Take that last math and keep going for each corner. I think I ended up making like 600+ leaves. I'm really fast at it now. Whole thing cost me like 60 bucks including the pipe cleaners and tape. I love how full they ended up looking. They are hanging on a fish line running along the top part of my whole ceiling (that took some time) so I can easily add/remove strands. Very modular. wow.

LEAVES! The first picture was the concept of what I wanted, hanging out at Micheals until I figured it out. Sadly, that single small bunch was 20 dollars, so I had to get creative.

I went with folded nice paper, pipe cleaners, and tape, which made it affordable to cover my house in leaves.

The finished product. Alcoholic on one side, non alcoholic on the other. Ambrosia up top and refills in the fridge. It was like this for all of 3 hours. I wish I could have looked at it longer but I wanted to make sure everything stayed cold

We gave out party favors of the 36 little round nectars, so our house could increase our friendship with anyone who took one. The big bottles had ambrosia.

This right here was why I threw this whole thing. I wanted to be the merchant in the first game.

Really pleased with how these guys came out. Hanging them wasn't nearly as painful as I thought it would be. I have a step by step tutorial on how they were done, no 3D printer required!
