Pro cat parent tip: this works great for hiding medications in to get the cat to take them. Jack is REALLY hard to dose orally, but he eats these right up (with the meds hidden inside). A huge weight off my shoulders not having to fight a cat to take his antibiotics.

I got a baby gate for the office door, so the other cats aren't cut off. Jack can't currently get over the gate, so this is the best I can do for now. The other cats have picked up on my stress though, and I feel even worse, because now they're stressed. The Ouroboros of Suck strikes again.
Yesterday was unnecessarily rough for both of us, and I'm absolutely having a residual stress crash out. I have a) cried about it and b) spent the night on the floor in the office so he wouldn't be alone (he has to be confined so he doesn't fall down the stairs or hurt himself).
I'm going to admit that I'm having a rough day. I'm stressed to the point where I can't eat. But Jack is alert, eating, drinking, and using the litter box, so that's good. I have to wait for the antibiotics to kick in to see if they help him any. My poor old man is very wobbly (deep ear infection).
In that case I'm truly honored to be blocked! 😂

I need you to know that when I say today was super stressful and exhausting that that's an impressive understatement.
Spent 6 hrs at the ER vet with Jack today. I find it unacceptable that it took more than 2 hrs. Hoping it's just an ear infection. Got antibiotics.
This has lived rent free in my brain for years and surfaces anytime anything turns 10. You definitely got a laugh out of me!
I might have overdone it. I had to lay flat on the floor for about an hour because my back was screaming at me. I would like it if my body would warn me before I get to the point where I'm going to be in pain. (I'll be fine)
Did a ton of yard work today, and the front yard at least looks really good (for now). The back yard got cleaned up, but not mowed. And I managed to pull out the rotting raised bed that I've been avoiding for 5 years. Now I'm sore.
Slippy is still the best boy.
So I feel attacked, but real talk gifted programs suck:

Colored a few small sketches of Rita. I was also fixing her fur color, as it think it was a bit too cartoonishly orange for my tastes previously.
The numbers are just notes so I remember what pen I was using for the line art. Just playing around to see which pen gives the lines I like the best.
It's February in Michigan, and I am O V E R winter. Dreaming of some warmer weather. It's actually going to get above freezing this week!
