Life pro tip: i cleaned up 100gb on my mac with two simple CLI tools, 5 min of time, and by only deleting cached files and such.

And since we're all much more in the terminal these days i thought it was worth sharing:

Now, it wouldn't be a legit first post if I didn't try to sell you something.
So I'll just quietly plug my own new shiny website where you can see some of the things I've done in the past years โ†ช albertogiunta.com

Until next time, happy making!

Alright then, this was just a little tiny post to break the ice and get out of the shadows.

More on learnings, freelancing, making products, the amazing people I crossed paths with, and joining communities soon.

It feels needless to say I've learned a ton, met loads of incredible people, and have more input in my head than I thought I could handle.

But it's all incredibly true and unexpected, honestly.

I might as well put them out there for others to grab and potentially gain something from it.

I've been freelancing for the past ~3 years with all sorts of startups and founders.

How long does it take to feel like you have enough to say to finally start sharing things online?

Eh, how would I know, I'm not there yet for sure.

But I've done stuff, and have at least *some* things to share โ†ด

Once all is generated by machines, it's the things we shape by hand that will be most cherished.

there's something about the look & feel of your design language that just shouts sturdiness, firmness. love it!

would love to learn more on how you got to it! was it just iteration and intuition? are there some principles you followed in some way?

kinda sounds as if the one making the roadmap used a cheap llm to understand how to not be subject to script injection in a fancy llm

and even with sonnet, i can't stay more than a few hours with 3.7 without getting frustrated at simple things.

at the end of day, 3.5 is still the one that feels like home

recently saw Tim Urban (the waitbutwhy.com guy) sharing basically the same approach as his way to beat procrastination.

all the time spent not working (while being *at work*) eats away the free time after work.

that's a pretty powerful way to see waste ๐Ÿ˜…

feeling the same. whatever people complain about regarding this whole vibe coding thing probably tells you more about them than about the vibe coders they complain about

it's one of the best overall brands in italy, but i've never tried it for pasta.

anyway, for pasta, rummo is truly the best you can get without going super fancy or super niche.

- recurring tasks on things, accomplish most of them in the morning before starting to work
- try inbox zero as much as possible (turn email to tasks on things or other)
- started keeping a one-file journal for 2025 where i dump everything that stays in my mind for more than a split second

damn, pretty cool. is that a screen? how do i look it up? ๐Ÿ˜

2025 should be the year when we focus on doing cool things without arguing over technical stuff. Just give it a try.

maybe worth to mention a bunch of usecases, to give people something they can immediately relate to? thinking of profile pictures, site builders...

super interesting, i've been thinking about this model as well, will probably try to shape something on these lines for 2025 as well.

on an unrelated note, i felt something was off with the headline, so i took the liberty to try a text-wrap: balance on it and it reads a bit nicer imo (before/after)
