I think a critical part is that the AI guys have massively and publicly tied themselves to the ascent of fascist politics. If you don't very specifically program for a living, most of your AI exposure is some combination of Sam Altman being personally unsettling and DHS making AI say the 14 words.

Have you unironically tried a gaming store and getting into some mix of D&D and/or Magic
Virtual cards were one of the interview questions for my new job, they're a pretty neat feature
Eh, I don't think that's properly accounting for how noxious it's been in creative spaces. Like, you go on indie arts sites and they've all had to either get buried under AI slop or establish rules restricting and banning it. Even sales sorting still leaves new queues to die.
At the same time, I think in retrospect it contributed heavily to an elite attitude of "the evil is defeated!" And everyone going home and doing nothing about him for 2 years.
2019 was the swing back, so more like 8

Looks like I'll be living in the Lobster district (VA7)
Had to double check, last movie I saw ft. The marshals was Security (2017)
I think the optimistic view from the "it's the prices" stuff last week is that COVID supply crunch was a *big* jolt and that a boil-the-frog approach won't get the same backlash.
Too distracting for me. Dude playing a video game I know is easier to balance.
I enjoy more pure-gaming ones but I also massively prefer the edited YouTube videos. My preference while doing dishes and cooking
3-panel comic. (1) (A person with a picture of a spacecraft behind head.] PERSON 1: There are now three spacecraft headed to Europe: NASA’s *Europa Clipper*, which will investigate Europa’s subsurface ocean, (2) [Person is gesturing at a picture of a different spacecraft while talking to a person with a ponytail and a person with short hair.] PERSON 1: ESA’s *Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer*, which will study the topography and chemistry of Europa and the other moons, (3) [Person with a picture behind head of a Zamboni with a rocket launcher underneath] and the NHL’s *Zamboni Voyager*, which plans to resurface Europa. PERSON FROM OFF-PANEL: Oh no. PERSON 1: We tried to stop them, but the league is set on an expansion.

I just moved so I don't currently know, but before I lived in Santa Barbara where the local farmers called in ICE on their workers and killed people.
It's also frustrating that people try to frame it as only about factory farms, as if the numerous small proprietorships are any more ethical
Instead there's a mediocre RTS
"teleportation, but only to waffle houses" is definitely going on the short list of funny superhero powers both for the reference and its own merits
I think the "we" is maybe the hardest part, like if you can't bring someone else along there's a real risk you end up the subject of a parable rather than it being the best thing ever.
If you've got any decent distance it's just more fun too. Like, traveling is really expensive, but if you didn't have to pay for flights or a hotel (since you can always end the day at home). Live the life of someone who jet sets every weekend without the expenses. Only barrier left is time zones!
It turns out that even the farcical paeans to civic virtue of pre-trump Republicans was a deterrent to the nonvoters of the country. Trump is the Beast who has wiped away all hypocrisy and unleashed a long-dormant darkness.
many americans demonstrated repeatedly that the thing that would get them to participate in politics was to be told by a television celebrity that they could be rich and it was good to abuse the weak

Does this account for the rapid change Reston has had the last 8 years?
Genuinely I think it would be a sound strategy to go absolutely all in on calling these people satanic idolators
Okay, but I also think some portion of modern problems are computers are erasing too *much* friction. Genie is out of the bottle but the harms are real.
Downtime system was a huge success in tonight's Draw Steel. My players loved fishing, although it did highlight a need for an easier "repeat roll" option
That's why I always carry a sword (so I can Draw Steel 🗡️)
I've been fully polarized against affordable housing mandates, they're obviously just being used to kill new housing and keep the existing stock unaffordable. New housing is nice and will be expensive but it makes older stuff more affordable.
Is this about the spacing guild, the water of life, or something else?
2/3 of the top rated episodes on IMDB too!
