This is my point.
I’ve heard the atmosphere questioned in many La Liga games previously and I’m convinced it’s down to the more methodical possession based football certain teams play there. It’s no wonder that the VP atmosphere may have changed in recent years along with the football.

The football Unai has instilled during his time is built on possession & patience. We talk of how he’s educated the fanbase and got their buy-in and I’m certainly one of them.
I think a byproduct of that is contributing to lulls in the atmosphere which to me seems inevitable. Just my opinion.
