I want an app that takes a playlist out of rekordbox and creates a youtube playlist of those tracks where available.
is this something that could be scripted? or does it require something more complex and maybe some experience w/ APIs etc?
these are always my favorite moments in youtube comments - when someone shows up who was part of the recording/performing of a song or maybe it was their close relative and its like: wow, its heart warming they get to see the appreciation once again so many years later.

i always liked the vocal line repeated every bar type thing where it becomes more an instrumental idea than it is a lyrical idea, though obviously impossible to remove the latter from the experience. ive made some demo's that friends heard and they 'll be like "maybe vocal repeats too much?"
i cant remmeber if i though tthe aquatherium record was a group on aquarius recordings or if i thought both were BDR or what but based of the Aquatherium record I had (which i couldnt remember exact artist/title) had me blind buy the BDR. And I think i may have another 12" from aquarius label
i remember pulling that BDR off a shelf BECAUSE i remembered the aquatherium record i had and finding it proper vibe dispensing i was like "oh word, hopefully this rips too" thankfully both of em got gems. aquarius recordings as a label is chock full of solid jams tho; - here's an Aquatherium cut
ok so i have been conflating back door revelations with another group, aquatherium, - see i have 2 records from BDR (so i thought) and when i was goin thru a bunch of stuff i havent played out and decided to organize it into my discogs account i realized i dont - either way:
im a sucker for organ progressions that lilt towards minor or dorian levels of emote and of course the more obtuse type ones where a whole chord is just sampled and pitched around to create weird/strange modulating key patterns:
i always thought the idea of tribal as genre was kinda silly but there def is a clear identifiable shared thread in rhythm/percussion of cuts touting the name or given the partition. prolly pitchin this up and playin towards the end as a way to brighten up as we head towards end of night
got a lot of 92-96 type vibes, stuff that really has that 1/8th not "up-hat" feel that kinda propels you fwd:

a nice lil tension builder with some reocognizeabl vocals for a crowd. personally if im playin to an audience that isnt full of folks with discogs accounts i like to give people somethin they kinda already know with stuff they never heard as a way to establish a lil trust floor <-> dj
