I made a meal from all the out of date tins, and never told the family. They wolfed it down despite some elements being from the last century 💪
A friend once cast a knowing look to her mum who rolled her eyes when I said her-me-own-ee instead of Hermione. A brief moment of shame at feeling stupid for not knowing, then anger at their condescending response. Also cheddar is always mature (rhyme nature) in our house after 5yo mispronounced it
What if he does ‘this’? And no one - NO ONE - has done anything to stop it? Or even attempt to stop it. “Well, no one thought he’d actually DO it” is not going to cut it for generations to come.
And that’s the infuriating thing. How are you supposed to know? Sounds like a crackdown
This is standard practice afaik. Understandable as items inside a plastic bag can’t be sorted. Best to empty the contents of the plastic bag directly into the recycle bin. Seems petty but I get it (having been in your situation once and asking why)
It was the start of the era when artists came and went in bigger numbers, with new number ones every couple of weeks. The charts were becoming irrelevant to pop fans. Thank God Brit Pop happened… the shining beacon in a sea of bland

Let’s give credit to the Bee Gees here. Already had Samantha Sang with Emotion, now this by Rita Coolidge…. Masters of pop #totp

Ha, me too. Still my favourite year for music… Abba at the top, punk still going, ELO, Grease, Squeeze and so much more … just brilliant #totp
I really don’t understand what people actually do that requires such remuneration. Is £1m not enough for anyone?
