Trump started it; Virginia effing finished it.

Trump is also profoundly stupid.

Picking up on the 30th call to scream at the caller to stop calling you is rarely effective, because the only lesson the caller learns is that if he is persistent, you will respond.

Trump is Chauncey Gardner come to life. What a disaster!

Oh, sure Donald, TV show ratings dating back more than 20 years ago are super-meaningful to your standing as President of the United States. /s

Platner seems to be a himbo. He obviously needs some seasoning, as he is not ready for prime time. How about running for local office before reaching right off the bat for the brass ring of U.S. Senator? And Maine should just go ahead and vote for the older lady Democrat already (Janet Mills).

RFK Jr. lies and lies and lies. You can’t believe a word he says.

Tucker is trying to inherit Trump’s mojo and run for president himself. Don’t believe a word either of these guys say.

Years and years and years ago, I cancelled my WaPo subscription because Marc Thiessen had not been fired. As I remarked at the time, I pay to have garbage removed from my home, not to have garbage delivered to my home.

When they can’t win fair, they fight dirty.

Dem redistricting.

Trump is like a child who has only ever played checkers with his uncle, who lets him win. If he plays someone else, who beats him fair and square, he can’t take it: that’s unfair! I should always win! [flips over the table, scattering game pieces.] When he can’t win fair, he fights dirty.

is Alito leaking again, this time giving Donald a preview, and Donald can’t resist the impulse to disclose that he knows how that case will be decided?

At least 12 hapless grand jurors in the Middle District of Alabama?

These effing physicians did not meet the standard of care.

Sigh. The treatment for pre-eclampsia is to remove the fetus from the mom. If the pregnancy is far enough along, the treatment is to deliver the baby, but one way or another, survival of the mom depends on the pregnancy ending. Continuing the pregnancy kills the mother.

“The redistricting scheme was always power grab by Democrats.” Oh, but the gerrymandering in other states by Republicans somehow is NOT a power grab by Republicans?

Can they file a tort lawsuit against the U.S. government?

16 hours ago 0 0 0 0

Preponderance means more likely than not, i.e., 51-49% guilty, NOT if you think the person is 30-40% guilty. Because that could mean you think the person is 69-70% not guilty.

Why rush to indict if the investigation is ongoing? Did they believe the SPLC was going to flee? By the way, fundraising for the SPLC may go through the roof as a result of this indictment.

Ha-ha, suck it, GOP!

Believe Gibson Dunn is a conservative/Republican firm (like Jones Day), so that makes sense.

Sure - evinces a colossal lack of judgment. Who wants that person around, stinking up the place?

The SPLC is charged with BANK FRAUD? Cuz they didn't tell federally-insured banks that the accounts were used to pay Ku Klux Klan informants? The KKK & other hate groups aren't "banned" such that nobody is allowed to do business with them; that would violate the 1st Amdt. Not seeing a federal crime.

Also, pro tip: Summer associate parties and lunches aren't social occasions - they are part of the summer-long interview/try-out process. So no getting drunk at the Independence Day picnic, grabbing the microphone, & blaring out a drunken a capella version of "I Want Money." (This truly happened.)

No matter what job you are interviewing for, it begins when you arrive at the building -- whoever you encounter on the way to the formal interview is observing you and your behavior, and any one of them can report back to the authorities.
