Can we all agree that children shouldn’t starve to death in the USA? If so, then I urge you to call your senators and your representative in the house to tell them that you want them to vote against the budget.
It is cutting food assistance to those in poverty. And ballooning the debt.

I am a transgender woman and I agree with *Rand Paul* that this budget is terrible.
Regardless of your politics anyone with a calculator should disagree with this budget. The CBO estimates it will add 3.9 trillion to the debt.
To every Rep and Senator who voted for the budget bill out of “fear of being primaried”:
You have told your voters that you will let their children die to avoid losing your job.
We both know this is not hyperbole.

Ok, so now that we’ve seen people posing as ICE agents and police to break the law, can we all agree that ICE needs to take off their masks and stop kidnapping people?
If we don’t insist on due process, then anyone can just put on a mask and shove someone into a van. That’s kidnapping.
It’s kidnapping no matter who is doing it.
“Only criminals are denied due process” just means we are all criminals if the state says we are.
Without due process, punishment for a crime comes without a trial, presumption of innocence, or evidence.
Without due process, being arrested means you are guilty.
Try to think about this at a deeper level than you’re doing right now.
Whenever you are thinking about restricting someone’s rights, ask yourself what that really looks like. What does enforcement look like for the law you imagine, and most importantly, who suffers most when law enforcement gets it wrong?
Take your sick days. Take your vacation days. Thank your coworkers for taking theirs. Celebrate people having lives outside of work.
People first!
If one of us is denied due process, then any of us can be denied due process.
