Today on Transgender Day of Remembrance, we pause to reflect on the lives lost to violence and discrimination. It’s a reminder that everyone deserves safety, dignity, and the freedom to live without fear. Building a respectful, caring province is something we can all stand behind.

Rob Shaw: Eby's tariff task force ends in a shrug Once billed as the centrepiece of B.C.’s response to Trump’s trade threats, the premier’s task force dissolved without results or notice

Remember that task force the Premier said would defend B.C. against U.S. tariffs? The one with business, labour & Indigenous leaders? It's already gone. The NDP @bcnewdemocrats.bsky.social confuse announcements with action. @votecentrebc.bsky.social #centrebc #bcpoli

2/2 But not everyone is this lucky: lobular breast cancer is especially tricky to diagnose — it often grows in “lines” not lumps, and can blend in with normal tissue, making detection difficult. Don't delay your mammogram! 💗 #LobularAwareness #EarlyDetection #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth

Some difficult spending decisions will have to be made that will allow for debt repayment. Currently, government's 3rd highest expense is interest on debt. This money should be going to those desperately needed services. Nothing is simple.

8 months ago 1 0 0 0

Fair question. Raising taxes isn’t the only — or best — way to deal with a deficit.

The real solution starts with better financial management: tracking where money is going, using data to measure impact, and reallocating spending to what actually works.

B.C.'s debt skyrockets in first two years of David Eby's government Vaughn Palmer: Eby inherited debt of $89 billion the year he took over from John Horgan. That debt has soared to $133 billion.

BC’s debt has skyrocketed under the NDP & Premier David Eby — up $44 billion in just 2 years. A 49.4% increase, with over half of it going to cover operating costs, not schools or hospitals.

Families can’t live off credit forever. Neither can governments. #bcpoli
