I visited Fukushima this summer. Here are some thoughts on how ongoing decontamination efforts there consider humans and nature, and strike a balance between memory, safety, and revival.
It was such a meaningful visit and I hope to return to help in some way.

To assess Iran's remaining nuclear capability, we need to know several things that aren't publicly known:
(1) Where is the HEU? Canisters broken and UF6 dispersed? In canisters that can be recovered (or not)? Or removed and hidden? 1/n

The discourse on the Israel-Iran war is starting to feel almost as dystopian as the war itself

Watching Andor and why do their reactors have lenses and why does Kalkite coat them? Is there fan fic on the physics in Star Wars (Andor in particular)?
