The kids who are most likely to have recess taken away as a punishment are usually the ones who need the physical movement and space the most.

Former high school honors student who says she can’t read, write sues district where she graduated A college student who says she cannot read or write is suing the board of education and the city for negligence.

Her name is ALEYSHA ORTIZ and she like all kids deserved better.
Shame on them. May all who need to be held accountable be held accountable.
Don't believe those who say they care for kids, only believe those whose actions match those words.

This is a travesty. It makes me angry for so many reasons.
I wonder how many times across our nation this story is repeated.
It is a dereliction of duty for the state of Connecticut and in particular for the Hartford School District.
