The Onion plans to turn Infowars into a comedy site with satirical echoes of the fringe conspiracy theories that Mr. Jones is known for. Tim Heidecker, one of the comedians behind “Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!” on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, has been hired to serve as “creative director of Infowars.” He said he initially plans to parody Mr. Jones’s “whole modus operandi.”

Mr. Heidecker has been working on his impression of Mr. Jones. But eventually, when that joke gets old, Mr. Heidecker said that he hoped to turn Infowars into a destination for independent and experimental comedy.

“I just thought it would be just a beautiful joke if we could take this pretty toxic, negative, destructive force of Infowars and rebrand it as this beautiful place for our creativity,” Mr. Heidecker said in an interview. During a recent trip to Philadelphia, he traveled to the Liberty Bell to film a video in character as the new creative director of Infowars.

I really liked that they identified OBP as undervalued coming into the ABS era and tried to build that way, in both hitters and pitchers. But the hitters' execution so far is looking sooooo bad.

That random diner has a 17-page menu, and you can order any item on it at 2 in the morning from the same surly waitress and it will be... ok. Not-great but not-terrible. I love many things about where I live now, but it's above the diner line, and I miss real Jersey diners.

I suspect it originated with a "how can we get the kids to eat some proten when the only meat available is disgusting" problem. Probably more like scrapple than the kind of sausage people are thinking about. Low-end scrapple.

Rest in Power to a major figure in the AIDS treatment activism in the 1980s, a time when many were indifferent or looking away.

They fear Gender Studies because it unapologetically exposes the real reasons why all of these middle-aged men would indignantly wear clown shoes solely for the approval of other men.

It’s fucking bizarre how people are acting like something from 2022 is something they can’t live without.

Like dudes, the emotional dependence on a sycophantic machine regurgitating nonsense to encourage you to stop engaging in critical thought and trust the slop is truly depressing to witness.

She's licensed. She's a COURT interpreter. She's lived there for 35 years.

This is destroying her life, obviously, but this is also fucking over EVERY SINGLE PERSON who needs a court interpreter for those three languages, nationwide.

The ripple effect is community-destroying.

And that's why.

Again: for any big liberal donor who wants to funnel millions into fixing this country's politics, the ROI on buying any struggling paper and simply tasking it with doing real reporting on local news is vastly higher than the same $$ given to some group that does mass ad buys every election year.

Viktor Orban accomplished so much of what the Trump movement wants to accomplish here

he ruled for 16 years and rewrote the rules in his favor

and still, they threw him out

and you know what? they did it by voting

don’t let anyone tell you voting doesn’t matter

i think the big reason people have such a violent, reflexive revulsion to jd vance in particular is bc his words and his body language are so at war, even normies can feel the jarring cacophany of mixed signals

in other words: like an autistic with highly attuned social pattern matching lmao
