Continue reading on Firefly.Social Day 1 of using Steelcase Leap v2: - Contours well to my body - Happy it supports micro-adjustments - Doesn't look like a traditional "executive chair" that I'm used to. Favoring form over aesthetics. I can't really say there isn't anything I don't like other than maybe getting a headrest, but I understand I can always get that bolted on.

Which means my phone is back to getting non-stop alerts about inbound packages again.

Continue reading on Firefly.Social Today is the day I finally completed my @openclaw migration to utilize n8n. It's a bit of a process, and maybe a little bit of cheating in the sense that it doesn't totally go in the spirit of what OpenClaw is, as it's offloaded deterministic tasks, so it's saving tokens and improving reliability/efficiency.

I had a little bit of time this morning so chipped away a bit more at my @openclaw and getting closer and closer to full n8n migration.

As I migrate more, things have become a lot more reliable. Less dependency on LLMs for things that don't really need it.

I've started the process of add @n8n to my @openclaw.

I'm going to do this slowly (over the next week) to make sure nothing breaks.

My hope is that some of the dependencies for clear workflows won't be as LLM-dependent and be more reliably executed.

Anyone using n8n with their OpenClaw?

Any obstacles or stumbling blocks?

For all my @openclaw people, which LLM are you running it on?

The way that Anthropic & Google are addressing the surge in usage of their platforms is making it more enticing to run your @openclaw on @OpenAI talent acquisition or not.

Continue reading on Firefly.Social Most people use AI to draft emails. I'm letting mine manage my health. My @OpenClaw agent essentially works as a 24/7 concierge for my biological data. While I'm asleep or with my kids, it's actually doing the work Here’s part of the daily flow: I text it a photo or description of my meal. It logs the macros and syncs them to Apple Health before I’ve even finished eating. No guesswork. It catches any glucose movements on my CGM and maps it back to that meal so I know exactly what caused it, and what to adjust. By morning, it’s already pulled my Oura recovery data and is giving me a thoughtful recommendations on what to eat and how to tackle my day knowing my schedule. It isn't just "collecting data," but it's proactively making recommendations. I've moved from tracking to delegating.

Continue reading on Firefly.Social Going to spend some time tonight to really clean up my @openclaw. Looking through the files, I see some clashes, and some overweighting on things I am not concerned about right now. Since I'm adding more data sources frequently, I'll need to build out a better process to to ensure OpenClaw is adjusting things autonomously (without me having to pop up open the hood). I think I can also do a better job of giving it feedback (ie, when it gives me information I don't care about, tell it vs. disregarding it).

"Has AI made us smarter or dumber?"

It depends on what we mean by “smarter.”

Tools handle a lot of raw recall now, but that shifts the job. You have to think more deeply as an orchestrator like framing the right questions, checking outputs, and reasoning through downstream consequences.

I just loaded my @openclaw with free LLMs from @nvidia : DeepSeek, Kimi K2.5, Mistral, Qwen, Llama, MiniMax

It will be slower, but I'm curious to see how this will go.

I'm normally not a fan of podcasts generated by Notebook LLM, but the Epstein one isn't too bad.

My mind is still exploding at how good Kimi K2.5 is.

I'm not sure I'll ever be able to put it together again.

Seeing how active you are here, I’ll give this place another whirl.

One thing I don’t like here is the very anti-crypto vibe. Not all of us crypto folks are right-wingers. Many are progressives who like the tech and the good it can do for humanity.

Sometimes when I want a diversion, I’ll go to a random DeFi server and pretend I need help with something.

I get flooded with scam DMs, respond to them, get them to think I believe they’re real and then frustrate them with not being able to follow their instructions.
