Did a little art stream to get used to my tablet. Also to try and get into the habit of drawing again in general. Here's a few of the doodles that I made!

That moment when you figure out a piece of code in a small game you're making that's actually way better and more efficient than the monster code you put in a bigger game because you didn't know what you were doing.

I was following along a tutorial in Godot, but after I finished the base game stuff, I started going beyond the tutorial and started coding custom stuff, using knowledge from other projects.

All of these brick types existed in a version of the game I played as a kid. So I decided to figure out how to re-create said bricks when making my own version of the game.

Fun gamedev thing:

Made new brick types when making an Atari Breakout clone. Yellow bricks will temporarily make your ball slower. Blue bricks will double your ball size (not stackable), and grey metal bricks have a health system, and need to be hit multiple times to break.

THIS WAS SO GOOD WTF?? #HUNTRXSTAN

UPDATE: Thanks to some very wonderful people, we've raised enough to get Felix a vet visit. We don't know what treatments he might need, so I'll keep the post up in case we need to pay for medication, or any other treatments.
