my thoughts on the Chiefs getting wiped out: at the end of No Country for Old Men, Anton Chigurh, the psychopathic antagonist who was to that point less a man than a symbol of inevitability itself, is hit by another car while driving. Even fate’s avatars are not free from its whims.

With every update I fall more in love with BlueSky and the people therein.
Please can we get to edit our posts?
Typos are traumatising when they're there representing you forever.

That's weird as heck.

Just keep on keeping on and maybe it will get removed.

Bluesky is just weird.

Trump's USDA nominee, Brooke Rollins, aims to reverse CA Proposition 12. This would allow the use of cruel pig gestation crates. Anyone who cares about animals needs to be on high alert for the upcoming Farm Bill and meddling from pork industry lobbyists. #AnimalRights #Vegan

I'm starting to think that I'm already dead and merely animated by coffee alone.

Responses to this are making me want PBS to make a new thing called “PBS News Minute.”

A while back I asked folks why they’re joining Bluesky and the most common response I saw was, “I just want a good place to get my news” and, yall, no. Bad.

Pete is exactly right. Focus less on be shocked and outraged and more on finding positive ways to organize in your community to fight back.

Became *immigrants to the States.

Sorry words are hard. I'm just typing to communicate and sometimes my typing isn't perfect.

I try to keep my head up and keep moving when that happens but I don't always catch my mistypes.

Ahhhhh. Being self conscious sucks in the modern age but it helps me grow.

Yo can I come move to Scotland to bring the opposite of Trump energy?

I'm not necessarily classified as a, "skilled worker," yet but I'm trying to get there.

My family emigrated from there a long time ago to another place and then emigrated to the States.

I wanna eventually return to those roots

I tried "benefit of the doubt" for too long. Now I have to block more and more people.

It's sad to see.

Exactly! Someone who is argumentative and does not want to talk with me, does not usually have any sympathy for me.

I have a general idea of how to help, but I want to know exactly how to do so without putting myself in financial, physical, or informational danger.

I just have different problems.

It's just.

I ask how much stuff costs to get an idea of how much I would have to donate to cause a significant impact.

The potential impact is largely never enough to help someone actually survive.

So if I donate within my small budget I fear that I will be ridiculed for not donating further.

I am technically a broke artist.

My PC hardware is old but I have a good enough CPU for rendering.

I was thinking of more future types or rendering with a GPU, but that's the Dunning to my Kruger.

I dream of building a PC that will last me 10 years.

My PC is good enough for older tech for now.

I agree. The journey is the part that makes it fun.

Do you have a YouTube channel or is that a commission?

I mean as a kid I would just download older versions of software that were available on certain places of the internet.

I don't know how viable that is nowadays with how quickly these types of technologies are progressing.

I think I'm gonna need a better graphics card for 3D type stuff eventually.

I've been trying to write more on bluesky and with other avenues.

That helps me come up with ideas and such.

But making those ideas into something tangible is hard.

I think I just need to start and maybe I'll finish something eventually.
