Of course they are concentration camps. And @anatosaurus.bsky.social is right that once you accept the euphemism you are halfway to normalizing the thing.

Concentration camps. If objective is to close camps, voters must view them as vile & without any merit. Many voters believe "detention facilities" are necessary for law/safety. Plus they fit legal definition of concentration camps (which is NOT same as extermination camps.)
“Superpower Suicide” is a concept to help understand the approach of the Trump regime to the rest of the world. We are fighting a war for no reason we can name, losing it, and covering our defeat with genocidal and apocalyptic propaganda.

Court documents show President Trump knew he was going to tear down the East Wing at least two months before doing so, but he never told the public.

Breaking news: The Trump administration’s fundraising arrangement for the White House ballroom project shields donor identities and excludes the White House from conflict of interest requirements, according to records obtained by The Post.
This sounds like an absolutely unreal case to bring, Blanche couldn't give a coherent justification for it, and we know how Patel felt about the SPLC.
More to come once I get the indictment.

The Justice Dept’s theory of the case— that the group that single-handedly disassembled the Ku Klux Klan defrauded its donors by concealing that it was using paid informant to do that work and more— has about as much merit as the now-dismissed charges against Jim Comey.
Though on these matters, and all legal matters abt AL, you should put more stock in what @joycewhitevance.bsky.social says than me.

Effectively, they're saying SPLC lied to their donors, claiming they were dismantling hate groups, when in fact they were funding them.
The legal theory, as alleged (which may crumble) is pretty compelling. And all the while AL USAO has been picking through an anti-racist org w/grand jury secrecy.
BREAKING: The Southern Poverty Law Center says it faces investigation by Justice Department over past use of paid informants to infiltrate extremist groups.

The thrust ofthe current alleged violationsset out in the recent Petitionsis a dispute over Mr. Taranto’sliving arrangements. The Probation Office has directed Mr. Taranto to reside at hisfamily home whereas Mr. Taranto isliving in his van which is parked on his property. The Probation Office has indicated that Washington State will not accept supervision unless Mr. Taranto resides in the family home.
Hearing at 2PM for Jan. 6 defendant Taylor Taranto, who is still on probation because of his separate gun case.
Issue appears to be centered around whether he can still live in a van on his family property.
He's still getting mental health treatment.

Tim Cook donated $1M to Trump’s inauguration.
He fawned over Trump and gifted him a 24-karat gold plaque (as Apple lobbied for tariff exemptions).
Apple donated to Trump’s White House ballroom.
And it removed ICE tracking apps from its stores following a demand from the DOJ.
Remember this.
