I just ordered a Kobo BW. I think it'll give me all the things I need.

Yeah, people all over the internet are complaining about it. Apparently these are common:
- Incredibly laggy page turns (slower than a 1st gen Kindle)
- Bad spacing and font rendering
- Lack of page numbers
- Inaccurate percentage

Apparently this is caused by Amazon's shift to Vibe coding :(

My Kindle Paperwhite took itself out of airplane mode and installed an update (5.19.2) without asking.

It now looks like shit with huge spacing.

But worst of all, it now lags when changing pages, from nearly instant to almost a second.

Of course, you can't downgrade.

Fuck you Amazon.
