I am a British Canadian, so don't know much of this, but had observed some real attempted recalls in the past. Just wondered if there was enough rage to get any going this time.

Question: can congressional representatives be recalled if a sufficient recall petition is signed? Or is that just lower level persons?

The judicial system is having trouble getting compliance with its rulilngs. Vance suggests they do not have authority to impede the executive (president). But the law is the final expression of the will of the people created through their delegates. It is the very basis of a democratic society.

As the US rushes towards a govt. shutdown, with govt. workers not paid for as long as it lasts, people need to remember that that loss of pay doesn't extend to legislators. They still get paid.
