Screenshot from a zfold showing the YouTube music app while a video is playing and comments are shown with the vid a tiny square in the top left corner that takes up about 3% of the screen. Meanwhile the comments amount to 7 line of text across 3 comments. Insanely crap use of screen real estate. So much dead space
Youtube music has had an UI update, took a while to work out where the queue is but my biggest bug bear is still there. If you look at the comments while looking at a video, the vid is miniscule even on a zfold.
7 lines of actual text on all of this screen real estate. #google #enshitification

Nice to see Peter Dutton as one of your Patreons lol.
You can read about it on their blog here. Tim has given a few talks at WA AEVA events and shown off the camper which i believe was up for sale.

Love not visiting petrol stations and not having pumped the equivalent of 12000L When people ask me how long it takes to charge I reply no time to plug in and how long would it take to stand there to pump that amount of petrol
It is odd that we spend so much effort to extract just to burn it once.
Sadly, this says a lot about how laggard our ABC is/has been on the need to electrify everything, including transport, and charging networks.
I do hope they get into much more detail on the benefits of going all electric. This could & should be a regular feature/series of ABC programming & news.
The more conspiratorial wing of the family when trmp came to power were saying Kash would make a great FBI leader to clean up the corruption. I'd never really heard from him but boy were they wrong on that dimwhitted sack of hammers. (They are wrong on everything)
Chart comparing petrol prices a d electricity prices from May 2020 until Sept 2022. Petrol prices in an orange line rising from just over $1 per litre to $2 per litre. Electricity prices are a steady 30 cents per kWh with a couple of very small rises each July. Chart is designed to show petrol price volatility vs a more steady electricity price of the standard tariff.
Back when we first got our EV I tracked 95Ron petrol against WA electricity prices. Good old covid oil demand.
Standard electricity tariff here hasn't risen than much and we now pay 8c off peak if not charging off solar.
This will take me to being 5 years old. Think I'll bake one to see if my boy likes it. Not for me at all, nope... 🤭
My kids friend always requests The Lumineers in the car so I had to be a good parent and play them some Butthole Surfers #music #annoyingdad

Australia's largest industrial climate pollution scheme is also its most poorly understood.
Today the federal government is releasing a new round of data today: details of the second year of the reformed scheme ahead of a review this year.
Here's what we know so far...
The complete stupidity - Crisafulli and Stefanovic - dumb and dumber. And some people will lap this BS up. Read what this actually is fools #Crisafulli #Stefanovic #oil #greenenergy

So sorry to our Australia’s Lebanese communities who must think all we care about is the price of fuel. 😔
My friends family had one but we did not and I was very jealous
Won't somebody think of the poor investors
Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera with flash bar
They are not solar panels on the Orion Module. Just a massive array of flash bulbs like on this old camera

Converting wind to hydrogen is such an inefficient way to treat energy. Burning stuff throws 70% away.

Hello friend, I found one a couple of weeks ago
Coalitions ministers hugging with glee at the repeal of the "Carbon tax" Includes Peter Dutton, Kelly O'Dwyer, Christopher Pyne, Greg Hunt
Whatever happened to the fun times when those fuckers repealed the Carbon Tax!!!
Luckily Perrh doesn't have to rely on Dam water and will have its third desalination plant come online soon.
Having an ostensibly US base on our doorstep is not a good thing but it's been "All the way with LBJ" from our political class for too long
Me i loved it and only have one quibble from the book which doesnt need detailing. Kid did love Interstellar though which has it's slow moments so think he could handle it.
There are a few moments with what id call big feelings, but I think it's the pacing and length that may be the main problem. I would take my 10yo to it.
And hello fellow banks fan 👋
Such a good way to stop giving properly crap companies like BP, Exxon, Shell, your money who have no interest in stopping what they are doing. (Public transport even better)
"No solar farms on prime farmland"? My dude, you are growing fuel corn. A single field of solar replaces several fields of fuel corn which means THERE WILL BE MORE PRIME FARMLAND to use for FOOD.
The more conspiratorial wing of the family were decrying 'activists' being a big problem right now.
