Historical data shows that this is (by far) the most urgency has been used since 2005. The next highest is ~40% by the 49th Parliament (Key 2008-2011) and then the 52nd Parliament (Ardern 2017-2020) at ~29%.

This is exactly what I think needs to happen.
Interest Free loans to support Kiwis to buy EVs/Hybrid Vehicles. Allows those who can to upgrade, while decreasing demand which allows no impact on those who can’t.
I fear this would be a no brainer for a lot of people.

Would love to see an economic modelling of the govt temporarily providing loans (or backing for low rate loans) for drivers to upgrade to EVs or Hybrid Vehicles.
I know if there was a lower rate for an EV, I would trade in and upgrade today.

The PCO have quietly started demoing a new version of the Legislation website, now available at demo.legislation.govt.nz
As someone who scrapes different govt sites a lot, I welcome this change to better handling of the legislation, including the fact that bills are now in PlainText !

Today is the first day I was able to test if #nzpt has started working again for tracking #nzpol statistics. As far as I can tell, all is working with the urgency tracker.
In the coming weeks, an election 2026 web app will launch with vote compass, party breakdowns etc.
