I think Lex wisely blocked a few people and the replies aren’t there. Or, even better, have been buried by cub joy. It was mainly people correcting kid/cub/kit, making weird assumptions that they were trapped somehow, or saying they added a bird soundtrack/it was fake.

I’m obsessed with the ridiculous replies, but I’m sure that pure enjoyment delights Lex more.

Listen up ‘reading snobs’: pre-teens want Goosebumps, not Tolstoy Well-intentioned teachers need to give pupils a break, according to a study that shows horror and humour are the way to get them reading

Good to see #JenniferKillick quoted in @thetimes.com , regarding the issue of letting children decide for themselves, on what they want to read.
This is an important pathway to lifelong reading, and I totally agree that our kids should have their say.

Anyone with young Donut Squad fans in Oxford, get along and check out the window of the Bodleian shop at the Weston Library. I made a cool thing! If I do say so myself.

a man with a beard and curly hair says that 's wonderful Alt: Andre the Giant, a large man with curly hair, in his role from the film The Princess Bride says ‘that 's wonderful’

Got a message from a North Carolina friend telling me that NC is putting a historical marker near Ellerbe in honor of André the Giant, who had a farm and custom built house (to his size) there. Every local in that area also has a story of how André helped them and/or drank them under the table

This was really interesting to listen to and seems especially appropriate after observing people here talking about their reaction to living through the lockdowns of the early pandemic. You also get to hear bits of his album that touches on long covid.

I want my romance novel featuring a FMC with PCOS who gets a hysterectomy at 30 to get a tv adaptation starring Daniel Radcliffe, Lizzy Mendez and Jonathan Groff aka the broadway cast of Merrily We Roll Along. Bonus to me if it gets a musical too.

This is out on Thursday and promises to be a banger, perfect for all the kids who've been inspired to look up by Artemis II - not just to space but also to the sky a little closer to earth, from bats to kites!

Oh wow, one of my dear writing mentors, Mark Desvaux, spotted this article all the way from Canada! I hadn’t realised this article existed, even though Warwickshire World does cover my current home town! 😄

If you return unwanted Reform local election leaflets to their party headquarters using their free post address, then it will cost the party £2.50 per envelope.

Please don’t share this information; it could cost Nigel Farage a fortune.

Not to distract from the blasphemy, but it looks like the guy on the far left is wearing a baseball hat with the word PETUNIA on it. AI text is often just mess, but newer models are trying to improve that.
