We should be ex pectin better.

Very limited scrutiny of Reform as the right wing press is supportive. Little real scrutiny of the Greens as yet as they’re taking support from Labour. This suits the ring wing press. If the Greens become the main threat to Reform they will then become the focus of negative media coverage.
Even with the points deduction, Leicester look to have capacity to score goals. We are showing no signs of being able to do this.
Ramsay looks a very poor appointment, but those responsible for ‘building’ this squad have a lot to answer for.
There is no evidence to suggest that anyone currently involved at the club has the capacity to identify and appoint a good manager. It’s shambolic.
Recruitment has been awful for a long time- Even our recent loans are baffling. We’re in trouble- Quick let’s get in three players with no experience at Championship level.
I like Lisa Nandy, but don’t think she’s made enough impact in her current job.
Safe pair of hands?
Or just old-school and ultra-cautious?
A 6 point deduction is an incentive, not a deterrent.
The same mistake twice after making a complete mess of the preceding appointment.
This is serial incompetence.
This is totally dispiriting.
Terrible decision-making in appointment of managers. Awful recruitment of players. Poor performance on the pitch. A complete shambles.
Chris Mason always wants to be seen as an earnest, political analyst. A man with his finger on the pulse.
He has the gravitas of a startled meerkat.
Opportunity to build a new defence last summer.
We now have the worst defensive unit I’ve seen in 50+ years.
Pearce has too many duds to his name.
Accountability?
Albion last night- one of the worst performances I’ve seen over 50+ years. Our recruitment at all levels has been woeful. There is no strategy. There is no consistent philosophy.
We have traded down on the pitch and assumed we’d be OK.
Well we’re not. That was dispiriting and embarrassing.
Absolutely. Defence conceding at 2 a game since late November. Shocking.
In a window where we need some clever recruitment, we are relying on Ian Pearce to lead.
Spotting the weak link isn’t difficult here.
We had the opportunity last Summer to build a new defence.
Ian Pearce sourced:
Taylor, Phillips, Mepham, Gilchrist, Campbell and Bielik.
We now have one of the worst defences in the Championship.
I would welcome the departure of anyone from the Labour Party that is sympathetic to Reform.
The two should be mutually exclusive.
I can get on board with the fact that we won’t have navigated the worst of our financial problems until the end of the financial year.Well done.
The strategy then falls apart if we make poor appointments- Mason and Nestor himself, and have a poor record with player recruitment- far too many failures
Reducing lobby briefings is less convenient for lobby journalists and harmful to their huge sense of self-importance.
I find it difficult to stick with a manager whose analysis includes:
‘We played a good game and had a lot of entries in their box’

My family have always been Labour because they wanted a better, fairer society. They didn’t realise how mistaken it was, post-war, to give them an NHS, the opportunity to live in decent council housing instead of over-crowded slums and the chance in the 70’s to access higher education.
Trendy and hipster they were not!
Agree- My Mother’s family lived in Hoxton and Dalston.
A lot of large properties now sold for millions were divided up into flats. Very poor living conditions in many. Outside toilets and no bathrooms commonplace.
Was also a lot of crime/violence and racism.
Don’t tell me it was a golden era.
The data-less appointment of a manager by a data-driven Sporting Director was always nonsensical.
The success-rate of signings over successive seas has also been way too low.
Accountability required.
Samantha Cameron’s sister- another impartial political columnist.
I think she is continuously in a dim loop.
Thought he played alongside Heggeboe but dropped off effectively too. Made a difference. Suddenly we had a real threat.
Price, despite some very good goals, has had very little impact for some time. We looked far better with Maja in a ‘10’ role.
Mason needs to make a decision re his best option at right back and stick with it. Campbell made a huge difference today. Moved ball more quickl/ effectively with Bielik.
The BBC ran this as the main evening news story including outraged vox pop reaction …then included the estate agent apology right at the end as if it was of little significance.
Appalling journalism.
