wrote a little bit about THE PITT writing out Dr. Samira Mohan, the outcry around it, & the conversations we ~should~ be having more of about this whole situation:

bring back shame
The heated online discourse about Supriya Ganesh's departure from The Pitt only scratches the surface of a bigger issue.
We put The Pitt's season-two closer under the microscope, and ask if a night shift spin-off could work.

crazyyy timing for today's new episode of THE BOYS S5, in which Homelander has quite a vision & decides he's better than Jesus Christ & that people should worship him...
“Everybody’s using AI for everything nowadays, and if you don’t, you’re a misfit outsider who should be stoned to death in the town square, and then resurrected virtually from your data so you can be stoned to death in the virtual town square, for infinity.” www.nytimes.com/2026/04/15/o...
there are lots of great reasons to watch Margo's Got Money Troubles, but one of them is that if you are into a certain Type of Guy, Nick Offerman has never been hotter
A few thoughts on THE CHRISTOPHERS (which I liked!) and Soderbergh’s embrace of AI (which I like a lot less).
surprised at how much i enjoyed DTF ST. LOUIS(probably because of the performances), despite not being a fan of its whole whodunit conceit
For more than a week, Amazon has managed to keep a death at its Troutdale, Oregon, facility out of public view.
Workers I spoke to are pissed.
Back at the old stomping grounds covering The Audacity. Pretty good premiere; looking forward to watching Sarah Goldberg on the verge of a nervous breakdown for the next seven weeks. www.avclub.com/the-audacity...

Now that the DARK WINDS S4 finale is out, re-sharing my set visit piece!
It was so special to go and watch this show come to life & to talk to the cast + crew about the value of this type of Native American storytelling and representation on TV today.
If you're interested in more on the business model that took over TV as streaming ascended, I talked to Parks & Rec/Good Place creator Mike Schur about this model, a "bait & switch" & how all this affected the medium/writing for TV (from 2020 but still relevant): www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/20...

spoke with Irene Choi for @vulture.com about her first (and hopefully not only) season on The Pitt: www.vulture.com/article/the-...
So excited to report that I got to visit the New Mexico set of DARK WINDS (one of my favorite shows!) last summer.
It was a lot of fun to talk to and an eye-opening experience to watch the cast & crew bring this special, sensational AMC drama to life:
Had a really great in-depth conversation with #Paradise writer and EP John Hoberg about the Season 2 finale, which characters' fates are 100% definitive, how the third and final season "will answer all your questions," and more:
wrote about PARADISE's season 2 finale, which is somehow unhinged yet sentimental and a tad rushed yet satisfying:
and also would also love to read more reviews/coverage of this show from other south asian writers :)))))
icymi, reviewed Riz Ahmed's #Bait, a pretty galvanizing & deeply personal comedy show about the pitfalls of fame, what it means to be a South Asian actor, & (like it or not) carry that torch of representation. out on prime video now!
also: Sheeba Chaddha is in this & SHE RULES.
Riz Ahmed's foray into 007 territory is now streaming at the Bond franchise's new home, Prime Video. ICYMI, here's our review of Bait:

I've been fascinated for a while by the comedy-to-directing-horror pathway, and was freaking *thrilled* to be able to discuss how the genres interact with Zach Cregger, Jorma Taccone, and the #ReadyOrNot2 team! consequence.net/2026/03/horr...
obsessed with Riz Ahmed's new tv show, BAIT, which premieres tomorrow on Prime Video.
it's a creative & darkly funny comedy that comments on the pitfalls of fame and tells a deeply personal story. highly recommend!
