In July I was made redundant. With a baby and wife at home I was panicked about how I would provide for my family.

In September I started in a new role, eager to get back to my career.

Today I got promoted after having only been at the company for 3 1/2 months to a role I’ve wanted for years 😭

When my daughter was born, my home office gladly became her nursery but I’ve missed having a proper desk set up. I did some re-jigging to our spare room which my desk went into and came out with this. Not like my old full on set ups but I dig it.

Wrote a little expectations story on the next Switch or whatever it’ll be called, going up in a few, and I’m mainly interested in what the “surprise” parts will be. Nintendo is a whimsy company.

I check it out of habit rather than there being anything remotely good about it anymore! Best thing to do is delete and come here where it’s peaceful!

What monitor would you suggest to use alongside a MacBook that’s not a Studio Display.

I’m guessing colour accuracy is the key thing to think about. Would be ideal to be 24” but imagine it may be tough to find something ideal that’s not 27” or bigger…

It’s one thing to be a supporter but then literal way they parade him out as a star of the event makes me ill.
